Overly priced sandwhich, chicken breast should be more then a very thin cut ,and my wife had a lunch special sandwich which the half was really close to a quarter size sandwich.I haven't been to Chuy's in years ,used stop by the Valencia store.Sorry never will I stop by Chuy's again and I would strongly suggest looking for a better sandwich ....maybe the Hat which is around the corner...good luck and have a great day

They don't know how to make a spicy margarita. They're not properly cleaning & storing their pour spouts for liquor.
Can't get your own chips anymore, and the salsa bar doesn't indicate anything about the different options (spice level, ingredients, etc.)
Birria tacos were good, nachos were good too.
While we were eating, a couple came inside with their two dogs. Both dogs were being fed food from the table, the small one sat in the booth, and the larger of the two dogs was under the table but shook multiple times as we watched all the hair fly off it's back. They should have been asked to sit on the patio. Thank goodness we were basically done eating at that point.
Then trying to close out, the cashier was having a hard time calculating how to break a large bill. It took a while and she had to be told how to break it up and then how much to give back.
Staff were very nice and attentive but I don't know if we'll be back unless the cleanliness factor is addressed.

Oh Chuy's how you have changed! My favourite mesquite fish taco is twice as much money and much less taco. $7.00 al carte taco!! My favourite chicken wings with the horseradish dressing are no longer there. They taste just like the same buffalo sauce every one else uses. The wings were under done and they did not look like happy chickens as the bones were shredding. The salsa bar has no chips as I assume they cost money too. My favourite red sauce that they used to have in the squeeze bottle at the salsa bar is no longer there. I am sad to say that, it's likely my last visit to Chuy's as the prices are very high for the quality and size of food we had. $35.00 for lunch and that was with some Happy Hour football prices.

The food is killer
Absolutely horrible, will never eat anything ever here again. I live in town, and want yo like Chuy's. I've ordered the salmon tacos, --the salmon had worms. Yes worms, no not fat or connective tissue. I let that pass because they can't control that.
However, last night was the last straw.. ordered tri-tip /chicken combo plate. The chicken leg and thigh piece were old and dry. The thigh portion was small and just bones. I sent it back. $20 should get me at least half a breast and a leg. I got a slightly larger thigh as replacement. Lame.
The chicken was barely lukewarm and flavorless. Whatever, its a sports bar.
Then, i tried the tri-tip. I couldn't believe it. It was literally less then room temperature, and blood raw. Important: I never specified rare/medium/ or well because tri tip is usually medium unless you request otherwise. It was , I'm not kidding, like 70° meat. I sent THAT back. The cook put it on the flat iron for maybe 30 seconds.
It was absolutely devoid of any seasoning. I rarely add salt or pepper to a steak. I was desperate, and you guessed it.... No salt or pepper shakers at any of the tables. My once-lukewarm steak was dying again.
Having to ask for basic seasoning, I finally just ate the meat. It also tasted old. The girl asked me if everything was ok. I was nice, but honest and said it was awful. She aplogized, did her best, but I still got billed full pop. Like I said, I want to like the food, but after multiple fails, I give up. Vallarta is the next parking lot. Just go there.
DO. NOT. EAT. HERE.
