Worst service. I placed a catering order online, they charge me and out of nowhere they cancelled my order about an hour later without notifying me. I luckily checked my email to find the cancellation. After calling the owner to find out why he just told me "he has the right to cancel any order" I was confused and asked him what the reason was and all he said was he can do as he pleases as it's his business. That was so unprofessional as I placed an order catering order for 17 and even added a tip . Be very careful, I'm sure the food is good as everyone has reviewed but make sure if you order that you actually get your food. Thanks

Great lunch spot. The Cuban sandwich is amazing. The plantain chips are a nice change of paces. The chicken bowl also had some great flavors. Definitely a place I'll be back to.

Being the only Cuban spot in Simi, they don't have to be good....but they are. Their cubano sandwich was delicious. Perfect ratio of mustard to pickles to pork and cheese. And the bread was exactly what it was supposed to be: soft and warm with a slight crunch. Now their arroz con pollo deserves 5 stars on its own. I had at least two eye rolls when tasting it with a pause before starting to chew. Damn. Tender, juicy, spiced chicken, and I'm adding that rice to my kitchen rotation. The appetizers were simply beautiful in every way. The staff was also very friendly and eager to help with any questions since a lot of people have no idea what most of the stuff on the menu is. I wish I had more time to read about the family history because the story was shaping up to be a triumphant tale.

This is my 4th time ordering from Cienfuegos. 1st through 3rd was absolutely delicious. This time I was truly disappointed. The arroz con pollo was swimming in oil and the rice was more like mash. The dish was under seasoned and the tostones were extra dry. I'm going to give them another chance because every other time the food was amazing and I've told so many people to try it out. This wasn't their best but I'm sure they'll redeem themselves Update: They definitely redeemed themselves tonight. Changing it to 5 stars because yeah, it's that good.

From out of town and saw the good reviews so I decided to swing by on my last day. I got the Cubano sandwich, black bean soup and chicken empanda and I loved it. The sandwich so simple yet so delicious. The chicken empanada was also a delight, the chicken inside was shredded a little different than I've had before. Can't wait to be in the area again will definitely come back and would recommend anyone to give it try.

Delicious food! I had the Ropa Vieja with tostones and side salad. I also tried the maduros and guava cheese pastry. Ropa Vieja was served hot and had a clean, rich flavor. Tostones with mojo, maduros and guava pastry were all excellent. Salad was fresh and tasty. Great service, could not have been better.
