Sadly, I would recommend the Denny’s in Moorpark and NOT the “new one” in Simi Valley. We were SO EXCITED to see that a Denny’s was coming back to Simi Valley - and for the first few months we enjoyed weekly breakfast and dinner once a week. Servers started changing (NOT a good sign) and sometimes it seems like they really didn’t want to be there. And WHAT on earth did they do to the gravy? UPDATE: July 2025. Recently we have revisited the Simi Valley Denny’s and are pleased to say that the new manager, Sylvia (she has been the manager for almost 2 years now) has done a GREAT job. The service and food the last couple of months we have visited have been excellent. The servers seem to be happy and work together like a “team”. I hope our experiences at the Simi Valley Denny’s continues to be positive and that more locals will support this local family restaurant.
