El Zarape is a gem with amazing food and great customer service. The pupusas are served super hot and are absolutely the best around, making it the go-to spot for cravings. They are made fresh, and the slaw on top is a favorite for many. The owner is helpful and is known as the absolute sweetest, providing a quick breakdown of the menu. Prices are reasonable, and portions are huge, giving a solid amount for lunch. The Quesadillas and Nachos are delicious, and the Torta al Pastor and tacos are a must-try. Although the service may be a little slow, possibly due to a language barrier, and the place could use an update, the food remains the star of the show. The staff is friendly and passionate about their craft, making every visit a joy. This hole-in-the-wall restaurant is definitely worth a visit, as it feels like eating at home.
