Came here with my dad while visiting because he knows I like good food - and yes, it's good food.
I had the chorizo and eggs. Great portion size and made just how I asked. I was glad for all the unexpected options. The waitress was friendly and suuuuper on top of refilling coffee (which I do not drink, but my dad did, so I absolutely made note of that since it's so key to a breakfast diner.) Everyone there seemed to be enjoying their meals.
The decor is very entertaining and I regret not asking about the story behind it all, but it gives me an excuse to visit again and ask. Plus, trying another dish will be something to look forward to!

This is the kind of place where if you âknow the ownerâ youâll probably be fine, but if you have never been before, donât bother. The food was⊠fine? I have only been once, and while I donât have any real desire to return, I canât speak on the menu as a whole since I only had a small portion of it. My omelet was awful. Over cooked rubber.

The staff here were friendly and accommodating. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on our motorcycle ride from Simi Valley to Malibu and the staff didnât raise an eyebrow when we walked in with our helmets and leathers on. Sat us immediately and we must have talked to half the staff as they walked by our table and started friendly conversations with us. The food⊠OMG! I donât think thereâs an item on the menu that we wouldnât order. Everything we ordered was perfect! The coffee here is also excellent! No military discount, but the manager did hook us up with a free pastry for our first time out⊠thanks for that! ?
Highly recommend this place for a quiet breakfast or brunch date!
