I went to Garcia's this morning they are charging $5 for a little cup of coffee that is ridiculous or a piece of bread the charging $3 each piece of Mexican this is very ridiculous I will never go there and buy food I recommend to go to the San Fernando valley or to More Park I do not recommend this place I would go to Moorpark and buy my coffee Mexican bread there it's cheaper I'd rather go to Moorpark to a Mom and it's very good in the menudo is greater better than Garcia's and cheaper

$2.50 for a piece of stale bread. It would be nice and professional to choose my own bread instead of having someone choosing it for me! Oh, and I noticed a fly inside the sweet bread display behind the register!

Great service, place was nice and clean.Tamales however tasted like they were frozen and reheated :/ also small in size for $3.90 a piece imo. First and last timer

I will not put a star and it is the first time that they give me hard and old cold bread where I ask if it is fresh and they tell me that if apart from being expensive they give the bread that is left over from the day before they are not friendly they are always in a bad mood they should attend check that the product is fresh

Amazing bakery cafe in Simi! And Tamales too!

Bread is very expensive here, $2.25 each. Even if it were Portos, I wouldn't think of returning here, they have a little sign there where it says: It's not that it's expensive, it's that there is a shortage of pure story products.

I'm disappointed I went and bought some Mexican bread I bought 4 Pieces I should ask how much they were First is my fault I never asked She ring me up and I paid And when I got home I saw the receipt And I was in ? What the hell I know everything is Expensive Now but it's not right to charge a huge amount just 4 Mexican breads I will never go back there They take advantage No respect

Terrible customer service! The man hangs up on you if you don't speak Spanish. Called back, hung up. Twice more so after 5 consecutive years I'm taking my 5 dozen tamale order to Carla's in Moorpark.

I grew up in a predominantly Mexican neighborhood where you can buy authentic Mexican food. When I moved to Simi Valley, I was happy to find a panaderia in town.Nevertheless, I was disappointed. The concha/shell that I bought was hard; not fresh at all. The tamales were fresh and warm but did not have enough flavor. Not to mention, they are pricey.I'd rather drive to San Fernando for authentic Mexican pan dulce (sweet bread). The conchitas and tamales that I bought today were edible but not good nor tasty.

This panadería is one of the best in Simi Valley. Their Mexican sweet bread is very tasty. Just make sure to ask for the bread made that day. I really like the circular ones with a sugary yellow crust top. It’s got it’s own name call Chilindrina. The TAMALES are authentic and very delicious too. Highly recommend the ones made with pork w/ red sauce. The cheese tamales are very tasty too. They also sell a variety of cakes which you can preorder for a big party. They keep a variety of piñatas too.
