Go Fish is the greatest sushi place EVER! We have been going there for over a year, and have never had a bad experience. The employees are very clean, and make sure to wash hands before touching other people's plates. The chef's are literally magicians that can make the most outstanding sushi ever. This is definitely not your normal sushi place. They have many out of the ordinary dishes made with sushi that when you taste them it makes you wonder why other sushi places aren't making those! I'm referring to things like the sushi burrito, Red Bull roll (which has filet mignon on the top), sushi taco's, and many other creative dishes. If you haven't been here you are totally missing out! I endorse you to rebuff your normal McDonalds dinner, and come to this epic sushi place!

The very best sushi in Ventura County!! Try the Red Bull roll or the Gomez Roll, you won't be disappointed! Best servers ever, always a great experience when we go!

Amazing sushi, we've been coming here at least twice a month and our food always comes out at a decent time but today it was quite the opposite. We waited 45 minutes - 1 hour to get our food because there was a HUGE party on a long table in the middle of the restaurant. We brought our two small children which made matters even worse because who the heck wants to entertain children for that amount of time at 6:45 pm at night? It would've been very appreciated if we were told in advance that the food would be on the slower side coming to our table. No warning given advance, instead we got an apology 45 min after waiting for our food. Do better and warn people especially with little kids!!!!!

I love this place so much! We've been going every week for a couple months bcus it's just that good!!! The sushi is always fresh, the service is fantastic- we chatted with the owners and now are friendly with them :) I'd say some of my favs are the garlic edamame, the heart attack, the Jenny roll, & the Tiffany roll. As for drinks, they have a soju pot (not on the menu) that's so yummy & great to share! On Friday nights they have a live band also. It's always a good time herWe'll be back next week!

Spent $100 on a to go order.. we drive 15 mins there and home when they call us to tell us that they gave us the wrong order.. they then ask us to drive back and get the correct order.By now our overpriced and hot order is cold.. so we ask for a refund. JERON told me they are unable to do that because the manager is gone?? Go fish sushi you wasted 30 mins of my time, gave me the wrong order AND STOLE $100 FROM ME.If you cannot handout the correct order or execute a refund after messing up this badly without your "boss", maybe you should just close down the restaurant for the night until someone that can handle things returns.Won't ever go back. My wife has been going here for a decade. This is my first yelp review ever! I don't complain usually, but seeing as GO FISH SUSHI STOLE $100 from me I felt compelled to.So now I am out $100 on Easter weekend and without dinner for the night. You would think they would at least come clean and let us keep the cold food and return our money but no. Greedy, overpriced and not that good of a restaurant to begin with. Should have gone to Hikari as was originally planned.

We have been here several times and always very pleased with it. The sushi is always fresh and tastes great. The service is outstanding. There was only one waitress on duty, I think she was our waitress last time we where here. She never misses a beat, she was waiting on at least 6 tables and it was the best service we ha e had in some time. The ambiance is nice, the decor is geared towards the sea. We left with a to go box, always order to much. And our lunch was under $50. It is right by the movie theater in the mall so dinner and a movie are a one stop date.

The sushi is sooo good! Try it you won't regret it. Service was fast when I ordered online through their website. I recommend the Blazing Cheetos roll and the California Dreaming roll. Both have 8 pieces each. More people should know about this place!!

In my quest to find the perfect sushi spot for regular visits after moving to my new neighborhood, I stumbled upon GoFish Sushi Bar. This great establishment swiftly ascended to the top of my local favorites list. Among the many sushi options available in the area, GoFish stands out for its exceptional food quality, affordability, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere it offers its patrons. One of the unique appeals of GoFish is its ambience. While the restaurant maintains a comfortable mid-level volume, it is family-friendly, so be prepared for the occasional backdrop of lively children's laughter or the sporadic scream--adding to the vibrant, community feel of the place. A standout dish is their innovative Red Bull Roll. This creative concoction combines the unexpected flavors of cooked filet mignon and jalapeno, offering a delightful balance of richness with a spicy kick. Equally impressive is their albacore sushi--massive in size, incredibly soft, and tender to the point of melting in your mouth while generously draping in a delectable garlic sauce that can only be described as 'killer.' It's important to note that purists seeking a traditional sushi experience may find GoFish's liberal use of sauces and drizzles a departure from the norm. The menu features big, bold, and filling dishes, catering to those with a hearty appetite and an adventurous palate. Given the generous portions, I often request less of the California mix or crab in their cut rolls, but for those with a robust appetite, a single roll paired with a small plate of sushi is likely to satisfy. The service at GoFish is consistently welcoming and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience whether you're seated at the sushi bar, tucked away in a booth, or at a table. The staff's friendliness and efficiency complement the quality food served here. GoFish Sushi Bar is more than just a sushi restaurant; it's a local treasure that marries the art of sushi with bold, innovative flavors. Whether you're a local or just passing through, if you're searching for a satisfying, flavorful sushi meal that deviates from the traditional path, GoFish is undoubtedly worth a visit.

We moved to the area recently and are still exploring restaurants, last night we tried go fish sushi bar. What a find! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and made to feel comfortable the great customer service continued thru our meal and even as we were leaving, if that wasn't enough the atmosphere is very nice and the restaurant is very clean. Now to the food it was excellent and so innovative we had a dish we have never seen anywhere before The Mountain the presentation was awesome and the flavor and quality was outstanding pretty fun tackling it and taking it apart. Everything else we had was great too very fresh, large portions, lots of variety and the presentation was perfect down to the wasabi they shaped it like places do with butter. Their ginger was the real deal so many places it's a weird color and disappointing. They have many beverage options too quite extensive. I think the person that greeted us and checked on us later is the owner or manager he has a great team. We will definitely be going back, so happy to have found this place. Also forgot to mention they are open later than many places which is nice.

Had a great experience the last time I went here. And again this place did disappoint! The sushi rolls we got were amazing and very healthy size! The service and place were excellent, all very quick, clean, and attentive. The Tiffany Roll is the most expensive roll on the menu but hands down the best roll they serve. This place is on the higher side of price but when you go for sushi a few extra dollars go a long way!

My wife and I have been eating sushi on a regular basis for over 20 years. We've had good and bad. Go Fish is some of the best sushi we've ever had. Every piece of yellowtail is so fatty that it's like getting the belly but without paying extra for it. I especially love their Santa Barbara uni. Their Toro is great as well! Occasionally, they have live music outside, which is great!Parking: Massive mall parking lot.Kid-friendliness: This is a family owned business that is kid-friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.
