1st lunch outing flying in from Tennessee. This BBQ outdoor restaurant was fabulous. The guy who took our order was very knowledgeable and helpful....he made us feel like we were long time customers. We got the Tri Tip bowl.....it was full of flavor, very plentiful, and the beef was tender. The tater tots were crispy....so many sauces to dip in. It was well worth the money, and would return again.
I like the product selection, but the energy here is something else....and I don't find the staff friendly nor helpful AT all. I've been here several times, and it's been the same experience each time. I only go here if absolutely necessary...
Green Acres - A Simi Valley BBQ Gem
I've been taking my son to Green Acres in Simi Valley since he was a kid, and we absolutely love it! This is hands-down one of the best BBQ spots in the area.
I usually go for the Tri-Tip Sandwich, which is served on a roll that's actually garlic bread—pure genius! The combo meal comes with two sides and a fountain drink. This time, I chose the baked beans and mac and cheese, and both were spot-on....
