Best sushi around. Always fresh and delicious. Lots of different choices for everyone, even those that enjoy cooked food.Kid-friendliness: They take great care of the kiddos. So many different options, everyone can find something they enjoy

The staff seem nice but I don't trust the food quality. I got a to-go order of sashimi (good) which came with a bowl of MOLDY rice (bad) that smelled like dirty socks ?

It is one of the places where I was very disposable with my dinner, the dish I ordered was beef tereyaki And the meat is the most terrible, I don't recommend it at all.

Got the Alaska Roll with salmon on top and got Salmonella. Do not eat here. My whole family and I got extremely sick. Ate here on Saturday and am still recovering. Never coming back

I felt so bad for our server because he was doing everything alone. Serving 2 tables and handling take out and answering the phone. On a Sunday. Our cokes were flat so we asked for sprite to which he responded, "our soda machine isn't really working but we have (alcohol options)" my boyfriend ended up ordering saki because there was no other option lol. Nice upsell for them. The water tasted weird too, so I went and got my hydro flask out of the car. They brought us the 4 little orders of sushi we ordered and then we waited 45 minutes for the rest of our food. Didn't even get to take advantage of the all you can eat because it took so long for them to get our food out. Never coming here again.

Hai Sushi is one of many sushi restaurants in Simi Valley. We decided to stop by to try it out of pure convenience since we were already in the area. When we went inside, there were only 3 tables that were occupied, and by the time we left, there was not an empty table inside. The sushi was just "ok" compared to other places we frequent within Simi. In my opinion, the sashimi salad was better than the hand rolls and sushi that we ordered. There were several items posted on a list on the wall that were restricted to a single order per customer. I was also disappointed in the slow service and the high price of the AYCE option, so we opted for the non-AYCE option. Maybe it was an off-night for this restaurant as I have seen so many five-star reviews. We may give it another try sometime in the future.

A nice little sushi restaurant. Very friendly staff and amazing team. Good food. One thing I will say is IF you are vegetarian and/or have specific dietary needs and/or don't order some of the more specialty sushi items, the AYCE would NOT be the best way to go or the best deal.

Have been here in the past it's been about 2 years and the prices have definitely increased lunch at 40 per person and children 18 I rounded out both prices .I think that's a little steep . Also ur limited to the amount u can order on certain things picture below . Younger female/ very short / bald very nice but reason for the two stars as the first order she never really came back to ask if u want to order again like I had to flag her down so I caught myself sitting for at least 15 min with no food for an all u can eat with only two other 2 person party in restaurant? The other server young Hispanic was very attentive to his other customers when observed . Maybe work on the customer service but I will admit towards the end she probably price I stopped to eat for a bit as I'm writing this review. As for the quality food is good and chiefs give good portions which was appreciated.coming here again maybe but the lunch price I believe is just little too much .

Very very mediocre. And the chef was just gabbing with a couple of drunk guys at the bar who were loud and swearing. No wonder it was virtually empty.

I had the worst experience here with my family. We went on a Thursday night and it was dead so I was excited for exceptional service but I was wrong. The sushi chefs were making Togo orders and not our own and kept looking over at us. We ordered miso soup for me and my two kids that was overwhelming with salt that we all spit it out and told the waiter and they looked at us confused. Then we got all you can eat and after the first course never came back to ask us for anything else. We spend the whole night tracking them down. The last course they made us wait 35 min until we asked them what happened to it and they forgot to put in the order. Absolutely horrible service. I think the worst part was when the waiter brought out our sushi they reached over the empty plates and didn’t even remove them from the table. Sad. There isn’t many all you can eat sushi places around.
