This place is nice. Not so gawdy that it feels like you walked into a circus. For me it's just right. Feels like home to me. But enough about their atmosphere, their staff is absolutely amazing. Like mind-blowing amazing. We order so often that they know the sound of our voices and know our favorite order. The quality of their fish is literally the best I've come across in a very long time. I'm from Hawaii so my bar on fresh fish is high and this place does is RIGHT. Their portions are large and their prices are on point. Not gonna lie, The Hawaiian roll is my all-star. If you go for the Izakaya Combo, I always recommend going with 2 Hawaiian rolls and it comes with miso soup. If go for the Bento Combo you get more food than you know what to do with. I recommend the teriyaki beef & 4pc sushi that also comes with a spicy tuna roll, rice, salad & miso soup. My last recommendation for at least this review, is to definitely get at least one soft shell crab spider roll. One last caveat, for the best experience & fastest service possible, call in your order ahead of time. Like tell them you'd like to pick things up in 25-30 mins. You won't regret it. Enough reading already, shut up and head over there. NOW. Seriously, all the cool kids are doing it. 🤘💀

this was probably the best sushi ive ever had, i got a bento box, with beef teriyaki and california rolls, and it was SO GOOD. our waitress was amazing, shes so sweet, she gave me a free ramune; if u dont know wut tht is, its like a populaf japanese drink, nd its hard to explain how to open it, but theres a little marble in the top and u push the marble down nd it goes into the top part of the bottle, nd its sooo good. the environment was very good nd quiet, there was only 2 people there when we came in. the food was amazing, i cant say tht enough. im sitting in the restaurant right now drinking the ramune, nd i am so full ion think ill be able to eat ever again lol 😠the only negative thing i have to say about this is tht it was very expensive, i went with my parents nd in total it was 144 (with tip ofc), but i wasnt the one paying for it so idrc all i care is this place is amazing nd i will definitely be coming back. PLS COME HERE ITS SO GOOD

My wife and I went to Izakaya since we just moved to the neighborhood and are looking for a new go-to sushi place. We were pleasantly surprised that this quaint small place was truly excellent. Absolutely everything we had was superb. The Monster Roll was huge and delicious! Great sauces, wonderful eel. All of the sushi was top quality and perfectly fresh. The yellowtail and albacore was literally melt in your mouth tender. The prices for the quality (and taste) of what you get are much lower than anything close to this and my wife and I have been to a lot of good sushi joints over the past 35 years!

We love this spot! Kelly is amazing with her service and the sushi is so good and fresh. I feel like we have ordered so many rolls here and never found one we haven't enjoyed. The red blossom is unique. I am a sucker for any roll with yellowtail and a jalapeno slice. Our usual appetizer is all the carpaccio options, miso soups, and shishito peppers. The oyster shooter here is a gem - super flavorful. Highly recommend eating here and reserving your table for dinner!

My favorite is their salmon, it is fresh and almost melts in your mouth.The service is friendly and server is always very attentive. They do not do dine in during lunch and a reservation is required for dinner. But it is definitely worth it!
Had a couple rolls and a drink. Within 20 minutes of leaving the restaurant I was super sick and it lasted at least 24 hours cause me to miss a day at work. The lady never came back to check on us except to see if we wanted to check.

Hands Down the Best Sushi in SimiThe most pristine, delicious, generous sushi I have ever had in Simi Valley is at Izakaya Sushi K. Not only do they consistently serve the freshest fish I have experienced, they provide incredibly substantial portions as well. Everything I have ever ordered is made artistically pleasing and every bite is satisfying.I ordered the Lunch Combo for $17.95 this past week and it was beyond amazing. You get two abundant perfectly made rolls and miso soup. I chose the Hot Night Roll which has tempura shrimp with amazing tasting real crab meat and cucumber inside with avocado and spicy tuna outside, and drizzled in eel sauce.My other choice was the Hawaiian Roll which has spicy tuna and cucumber inside with tuna and avocado on the outside, drizzled with eel sauce and spicy mayo. They were incredible. They set the bar so high that nothing compares. I like to tip them well because they deserve to be recognized for being so exceptional. Not only is the food impeccable, they have the kindest, most genuinely gracious and friendly owners.I rarely take time to post reviews, however, they really should be acknowledged for all that they are and their impeccable food. It is the one sushi restaurant I can honestly say I have never had a disappointing experience with. I am looking forward to my next visit and many more after that.Update: Last two pictures are the Superman burrito from today. Completely and generously stuffed full of of deliciousness. The best one I've had, because it's just so fresh. Also priced better than places like Poke Bowl, and Poke Stop, not at such a higher quality. I absolutely recommend!
