Absolutely wonderful! I went with my girlfriend on a busy Saturday and we still got incredibly attentive and smooth service all throughout the night. Our waters were always filled for us, the food was great and the ambiance was very sleek and pleasant :) will be coming back for sure if im in the area!
Celebrated our three-year anniversary with some delicious food and fantastic service. Highly recommend!
Overall, good food. But sever forgot a few items we ordered. Vegetables were kind of cold and bland. Steak was excellent though.
Always a fabulous steak, tender and juicy. Missing my favorite waitress, Maggie. Always a delicious and elegant date night. Thank you Larsen's Simi Valley for another great meal.
The wait staff was outstanding, very inventive from the time we entered until the time we left. The food was amazing. I would recommend it to family, friends, or anyone that would ask where a grate steakhouse be to eat. I would say Larson's Steakhouse. Thank you J.Simon

A bit disappointed. What well run restaurant runs out and was out of Coke? Larsens Grill, that's who. Coke, the best selling beverage at all restaurants. Crazy and a huge let down. Dinner wasn't as good as it normally is due to not having refreshing Coke to go along with it.
Our dinner at Larsen's in Simi Valley was expensive, the dining room was loud, the booths were comfortable, and our server was very good. The food was a little better than average. My rib eye steak was very fatty. My husband's filet mignon was good, but his grilled asparagus was tough and hard to cut even with a steak knife. Our son's beef ribs were tough, but he enjoyed the macaroni and cheese. Our server gave us a complimentary dessert of butter cake and ice cream which was very good.
The chef at the Simi Larsen's consistently prepares steaks exquisitely and precisely, clearly outcheffing other Larsen's, Morton's, Fleming's and surprisingly, Maestro's! If you want the best steak from Tarzan to Thousand Oaks, Simi Larsen's is the clear choice. And ask to sit in Maggie's section. She's a delightful and diligent addition to the staff. This is our date night location every time!

We came in on Thursday 8/29 around 5pm and were seated immediately it wasn't very busy yet. We came in especially because the steak offerings were supposed to be really good. My mom ordered med rare porterhouse with sauteed mushrooms and onion rings. I ordered med rare new york strip with sauteed mushroom and loaded baked potato. My mom's steak was little bland seasoning wise (which isnt always a bad thing for her because she's a picky eater) but was cooked nicely and the mushrooms were great. The onion rings tasted like the standard out of a bag kind and were a bit disappointing. My steak wasn't nearly as good as my mom's, it was full of gristle and had a strange metallic after taste (I only tried a few bites). The baked potato wasn't much better it came out on the plate so cold that the butter provided didn't melt at all. The only thing edible on the plate were the mushrooms. Luckily our server did eventually check in on us and put in for a different dish but this unfortunately took quite a bit of time and my mom was finished with her meal by the time my food arrived. For a replacement I got the herb chicken with mushroom sauce. The chicken and mushroom sauce were excellent but the wild rice was kind of mushy and overcooked. Ultimately the strip steak was taken off the bill which I definitely appreciate. I hope it was just an off day for them. However, given the medicore food quality and spotty service we experienced for the prices charged I can't say that I would ever return or recommend.
Sometimes this neighborhood gem is a hit or miss. This last experience was fantastic. The wedge salad and chopped salads were fresh and flavorful. We ordered the porterhouse and ribeye steaks. Pricy but worth it. Great flavors and enough for leftovers. Stuffed baked potato enough to share as was the grilled asparagus. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the complimentary butter cake with ice cream, whip cream and berries was the best we've had. Can't wait to go back. Don't forget discount cards from Costco.
Unfortunately, totally different experience to previous visits. Meat was overcooked and sides inedible. Our server didn't check on us once food was served. For the price, there are better options.
Larsen's is constant excellence in an ever changing world. This time around we want to recognize Aubrey, Alexa and Michael for providing amazing service on 2 separate nights this week! Mgr Jamie is constantly outstanding. Thank you Larsen's!!!
