Larsen's Grill

Larsen's Simi Valley is my family's favorite for Thanksgiving. The place is decorated beautifully and the service and food were excellent. We give them 5 stars!!

All of the servers were so lovely and nice and they made our Thanksgiving so special The turkey dinner was so yummy.

While a little pricey, the service was outstanding, the food was outstanding and the portions large (we have leftovers for at least a couple meals each).

This was my fourth time visiting Larsen's for Thanksgiving dinner. It is always such a wonderful experience. Food was excellent & service was spectacular! Plus it beats cooking & cleaning! Can't wait to come back next year!

I had a Mommy and me trip with my son and this was to be our exquisite dining experience in Cali. It was a disappointment to say the least. The atmosphere met our expectations but the roasted chicken was undercooked- RAW RAW. My son's burger was requested medium well but it was rare and the server even seem disgusted at how raw it was. The glass of wine, the rim of the glass smelled raw as if it wasn't washed properly. I told theserver and she just brought me a new glass. They took back the burger that my son had already bit into and refired the same burger. I was more disgusted that they put something that was bitten back on the grille and didn't bother to cook a new one. Yuck! He didn't eat it when it returned. I lost my appetite and didn't order anything else. We ate the appetizer which was a cheese bread. We left hungry. The host came over and told me that heard that my food was undercooked but didn't really offer any resolution. I then paid a $90.00 bill for the cheese bread stick, a glass of wine and a raw-refired burger that was not eaten. It was cold in the restaurant and I was offered a hot cup of water to grasps to warm me up. It was not a positive experience I had hope for my son and I.

My server was courteous. The food was delicious. I arrived early and waited a couple of minutes to be seated. I will keep this on my list of restaurants to go to when I'm back in the area.

Bree was our server and she was fantastic! Food was very good as usual. One drawback, crab cakes ordered but sent back, lots of filler, little crab. My meal was changed made immediately and the item was excellent, .

We recently celebrated a 70th birthday at Simi Valley Larsen’s Restaurant, and it was absolutely flawless! From planning to execution, the entire team went above and beyond to make the night very special.

A huge thank you to Jaime, the General Manager, whose professionalism and attentiveness made our experience seamless from start to finish. She coordinated the private room and made sure every detail of the evening was flawless

On the night of the event, Kathy and Brie, along with the rest of the server team, delivered exceptional service. Every dish arrived hot, beautifully presented, and perfectly timed. This is no small feat for a party of 14! The food was fantastic, as always, and our guests couldn’t stop raving.

Maggie and the bar team were rockstars, keeping drinks flowing efficiently despite a packed house. Their speed and coordination made a huge difference.

It’s clear this team takes pride in what they do. We’re regulars here, and this celebration reminded us why. Huge thanks to everyone who made it a night to remember!

I went there today for a date and as i ordered my entree i saw a cochroach on my plate. This has never happened to me in a long time so to see it in a place apparently classy and well kept was disappointing. So i ended up not really feeling like eating anything else after that incident.

Have avoided this restaurant for many years for various reasons but decided to finally try it. Very pleasantly surprised with every aspect, ambiance, service, food quality and variety and cost. Can't wait to go back!

Food was great, so was the service. We go to Larsen's for our special events and it is always worth it. Enjoy.

TUESDAY FOOD REVIEW...LARSEN'S STEAKHOUSE...10/14/25! Scott and I went to a Financial & Insurance Service dinner at Larsen's Grill tonight, located at 1555 Simi Town Center Way, #565, in Simi Valley, CA. We have wanted to try this place for awhile, since it was named the best steakhouse in Simi Valley. We had our choice of dinner, and I chose their 6 oz. Wet Aged Filet Mignon, which comes with mixed vegetables (I traded with Scott for his asparagus), half of a roasted garlic clove, a Caesar Salad, and for dessert I ordered their Molten Lava Cake, which comes with ice cream, which was served to us in a to go bag. The salad was okay, the filet was good, the asparagus was delicious, but the best part of the dinner was the roasted garlic clove. The Molten Lava Cake, which I ate at home, was VERY THICK and doughy tasting, the ice cream was just okay, but the chocolate sauce was good. I'm glad that we did try it, but in my honest opinion, it's not worth a return visit. My rating: 7

I was surprised to saw through my filet instead of melting in my mouth. For the price of $74
I felt insulted that I would be served this type of meat. Very tough and chewy. Not impressed.
If you’re going to be a high dollar restaurant don’t disregard quality.

Came here for my mom's 70th birthday celebration. She fell in love with the decor and the staff. Service was top tier. She had her heart set on Prime Rib but they were sold out so she had the Prime Rib sandwich and we toasted to her birthday celebration with a glass of Moscato. Simply delicious! Our server felt so bad that the Prime Rib was not available for the birthday girl so the kitchen made her a beautiful dessert for her to enjoy. Made her night! It is the little touches like this that will have us back next time we are in town!

Charlie was amazing, very attentive: went the extra mile. (He was the server asst) We went for my son's bday, it was just the two of us, would have been nice if server had waited for me to return from ladies room as when I got back, his lit bday candle and dessert was already there. I like the happy hour here much better. Our server was just ok, but Charlie made up for it !!!!
