Larsen's Grill

Beautiful restaurant. Seating is plush and comfortable. Although we were there with family, it could be a very romantic setting for two. Wait staff was attentive. The dishes came out in a timely manner. We enjoyed the miso Chilean Seabass and the pecan crusted Seabass.  Both dishes were flavorful and prepared perfectly. Highly recommend, ample seating, we did however, make a reservation, which was helpful. Great find in Simi Valley. 

The food was amazing and well priced for the amount and quality you're getting. We were very impressed with the order of baby back ribs for its size and and how great it tasted!!They all have a good happy hour menu with great food rather than only just having appetizers like most places

I've gone here several times before. But my latest visit wasn't worth the money at all. I ordered a rare NY steak, but it came closer to medium. And the flavor was just mediocre at best. Texture wasn't there as well. The Black Manhattan cocktail is not properly listed or made per the description on the menu—and they upcharge you $6 to make close to the menu specs with a bottom shelf rye. Menu states it comes with rye. I informed the waitress to make sure it comes with rye because I recall a previous time they made it with bourbon. Anyway, I charge extra just to make it with bulleit rye (I asked for whatever rye it's supposed to come with) and I was charged more. That just doesn't make sense. Why the false advertising? If the menu lists it coming with rye, why charge more to actually make it with rye. I brought it up to the server, and she said they don't make it like that anymore, and asked if I wanted to speak to the manager about removing the additional costs. I said no because what's the point on a $350+ bill? I think the fact that she didn't do it on her own from the get go is the problem. From below average steak to the extra charge, the experience over all left a bad taste in my mouth. We usually come here about 4 times a year, not sure if we'll be back.

Food was ok at best. We ordered the Brussel sprouts that were recommended by the waitress. We wanted them extra crispy. They had to re cook them 3 times and still didn't get them correct. The steak was tough and lots of fat. Not worth $84

Wedge salad and tritip were very good. Baked potato was kind of bland. Service was excellent. A bit pricey- including corkage fee.

Amazing New Years Eve! From the minute we entered the restaurant it was like a blast from the past - balloons and festivities galore. We were greated with a glass of champagne. Our table was ready and our server was amazing. We truly enjoyed our meal and felt like we had a total experience- not just dinner! Larsens is truly classy establishment! We are never disappointed.

This place never disappoints. Food is great. Our waiter was awesome, Scott. Place was busy! It was New Year's Eve. Decor was great. It was rather noisy but that was probably because it was full.

excellent venue with quality food, good service and unlike snotty places, Larsen's does not charge extra for split plates I've been to this location now four times and every time was exceptional

Had an amazing birthday dinner with Scott as our server. The steak and lobster was delicious! Will be back!

Our anniversary dinner was perfect! The service was friendly and helpful, including the busers. Clean, classy, and the food was excellent.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. I have always felt the food here is just average but the prices are high and this experience was no different. Ordered a Prime filet mignon, medium, came out medium-rare but was very difficult to cut. Because it was price, it should have cut like butter, in my opinion. The sides were good. Wine list is just average, I was hoping for something better. Dessert was good. It felt like the waitress watched out table like a hawk. We could barely get through a conversation without being interrupted. I guess that's better than being ignored. The young man who poured water and cleared the table was very good. Overall, just another average experience which is why I only dine here once a year.

I made a reservation and I didn't get the booth that I requested. They stuck us in the corner where it was cold so it wasn't great for me and the service was slow. It's quite pricey as well.

Amazing steak and seafood—jumbo shrimp, crab cakes, and filet were delicious. Slightly crunchy green beans and slow service, but it was Christmas Day.

We went to Larsens on Christmas to celebrate my birthday. The food was horrible!! I had salmon that was undercooked and the sauce had zero flavor. My mom had chicken breast that had parts on it that should have never been served and it was so tough she had trouble cutting it. The rolls were awful because they were also undercooked. Also, they tried to seat us outside when it was boring down rain when we had a reservation for a booth. We were seated inside at a table. Not what we wanted. It wasn't a pleasant experience and I'm never going there on a holiday!!!
