The Lucky Dog Cafe is my go-to coffee place in Simi Valley. The staff are wonderful, friendly and proficient. The coffee is outstanding, the baked goods are tasty. There is good indoor and outdoor seating in a very pleasant atmosphere. The lucky dog is pet friendly, and even though I don't own a pet, I enjoy having the occasional dog around. I highly recommend it.

I absolutely love the Chicago dog and their drinks selection. I looked around in the area for a better Chicago dog but was unable to find one. I would take a picture, but I already ate it. I want another one.

I love this coffee shop! They made my triple espresso with heavy whipped cream. They will customize anything that you request. Shannon the owner is very friendly and sabrina served me with a smile. They even let me put my new music flyer out for the public to see.

The only way I could be a better player than you are right there right here in front you know what I'm saying and I'm just gonna be a good person I can do whatever you need and you can be a better man and you know that and you can always be a good friend to you can always make me feel like I can always make a better man I know I know that and I'm gonna make a better one and I'm not going anywhere to get it but I'm just trying and I don't know how

Everyone is so nice and helpful. Their iced latte with horchata is amazing! Their acai bowls are my favorite and are big enough to share. I love going with my kids after school and just talking while we enjoy the delicious drinks and food. They prefer Lucky Dog over the big name coffee shops, plus you get to see all the cute pet pictures on the wall.

Good things: breakfast burrito was large and plenty to eat. Avocado toast was good. They have coconut milk for coffee. Will definitely come back for coffee and try other food. Burrito was served super hot! Business has a mission. Dog friendly. Why I didn't give it 5 stars? Avocado toast wasn't toasted enough. Might be a one off thing. Hot salsa wasn't really hot and was kind of sweet. They do have Tapatio though. This might be ticky tack but I will definitely come back.

Been wanting to try this place for a long time but never had the opportunity until yesterday. Unfortunately for me, the gift card I purchased for this location is no longer honored now that the business has new ownership. Beware buying gift cards. Use them up or give them away right away. Because if a store goes out of business you have no repercussions. Lucky Dog Coffee didn't even try to earn my business with a discount code. My neighbors swear by this place and kept urging me to try it.

I was looking for some coffee last week and thought, I wish there was a good coffee place on the east side of Simi but I guess I'll have to go to one of the mega-chains because there is nothing over this way. Well, there is a gourmet coffee house on this side of town! And it's Lucky Dog Cafe! It's right on Tapo Street. Lucky Dog has coffee and a lot more. Açaí bowls, a broad breakfast menu and fresh baked items. I wanted a muffin and they have those too. The muffins, brownies and cookies are not brought in from someplace else, they are baked right there. Dogs are welcome too. They have seating inside and outside. I've been back since then and the staff and the owner are very friendly and accommodating. This is really the kind of place that Simi needs: local, unique, welcoming and with delicious food and coffee. They opened right around the start of Covid and they survived so show them some love. Maybe even some puppy love.

I love Lucky Dog Coffee! Great service & friendly owners & staff. My faves are the Chagaccino (coffee with mushrooms & cacao) hot or iced and the açaí bowls! The lattes and brewed coffee, avocado toast, cinnamon roll muffin, other muffins are also excellent. I haven’t tried too many food items yet — stuck on the protein açaí bowl. They also have a vast menu of flavored drinks to try (made with coffee, tea or not) and wine. Sweet homey atmosphere featuring dogs & pets and some tables outside too. I brought my dog once & they gave her a pup cup.Dietary restrictions: They offer a complete range of milks - dairy & non-dairy - plus heavy cream for their coffee & tea drinks.
