I had been to this restaurant a few times, trying to promote Simi Valley businesses. Yesterday I noticed in their menu they stipulate a charge of $ 0.75 per glass of tap water! When I protested, they said that the water department suggested the charge. Not true. I did some research today and it is actually mandatory for California restaurants to serve tap water free of charge upon customers request. Very disappointed.

My wife and I had a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at Munay. Their special was an amazing four course dinner with some of the best Bruchetta we've ever had, veggie bisque, we split an outstanding Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes to die for and some of their pesto pasta, and finally had a fun chocolate mousse/white chocolate shell dessert that with what seemed to be spun sugar that they lit on fire. The staff were fantastic, welcoming, and quick. The ambiance was fun Valentine's Day hearts and pseudo candles in a warm environment.Overall, it was an outstanding experience and we can't wait to return soon.

Very sweet and unique place. We enjoyed plantains and the burger was awesome. The chocolate cake was so good! Lovely date night!

We found this place online and decided to give it a try. We ordered the Papa Haunca, Senor Tacu Tacu, and Dona Tallarin Saltado. Very friendly staff and the food was very flavorful! Definitely recommend the Dona Tallarin Saltado and we can't wait to return and try more dishes!

Interesting food in a city that is mostly a fast food wasteland.Dietary restrictions: We have a garlic allergy and they were still able to comply gracefully.

First time visiting, and certainly won't be my last. The Don Lomo Saltada was exceptionally tasty and explains this dish being their most popular. Perfectly sized portion for one and the accompanying sauce was incredibly flavourful. The Peruvian dark lager, Cusqueña, was a wonderful example of how a lager is supposed to taste - no hoSusquehanna, Service was more than pleasant and attentive.

Munay was a pleasant surprise on a cold & rainy evening. Their service was warm and friendly, food was excellent! Definitely will return.

My wife and I found this excellent Peruvian restaurant. The food was very good especially the ceviche appetizer. I ordered the fried rice and my wife ordered the roasted chicken. The food was so delicious. Also the service was outstanding. Our waiter Alfredo was very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.
