It was a truly delightful experience, having lunch at Olivios Trattoria. It’s a cozy little Italian spot tucked into a strip mall, but don’t let the location fool you—the food here rivals high-end Italian restaurants.
Usually the salmon with vegetables and a side of pasta is a perfect combination and every bite is outstanding. The salmon was perfectly seared on the outside while remaining moist and tender inside, with just the right hint of seasoning and citrus. The vegetables were fresh, lightly sautéed, and had great texture—clearly not an afterthought. As for the pasta? Cooked al dente, rich in flavor, and coated with a savory sauce that hit all the right notes. Everything felt homemade, not mass-produced.
The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, with attentive service that made the meal even more enjoyable. This place is a hidden gem for Italian food lovers in Simi Valley, and I definitely love to be there to try more dishes.
Highly recommended for a casual yet memorable Italian dinner.
We enjoy going to Olivios as it is one of the most splendid Italian restaurants, anywhere especially in Simi Valley.
I really love the chicken Parmesan and the lasagna ! They have plenty of desserts too, including tiramisu. Service is always top notch and the prices are pretty good for such a fine restaurant.
I highly recommend this great place don’t be thrown by the small size of this strip mall restaurant. It is a gem.
The best lemon drop martini i’ve ever had!! The “pink sauce” was my family’s absolute favorite and the service was incredible!!! Everyone was so nice and our food was out of this word!10/10 recommend this family owned restaurant!!!
Excellent service, romantic little bistro and delicious food! The salads and soups were fresh, the pasta and risottos were perfect!
This restaurant is cozy and has good free bread. Everything was fresh. The calamari was delicious, as was the wedge salad. The price is a little high for the amount of pasta you get in the dishes though.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying an incredible dinner with my family that left us all thoroughly satisfied. I personally chose the mushroom risotto, which was rich and flavorful, while other members of my family delighted in the Butternut Squash Ravioli, Fettuccine Alfredo, and the Sand Dabs, each dish expertly prepared and bursting with taste. To finish, we indulged in the decadent crème brûlée and the warm, comforting chocolate chip bread pudding for dessert, both of which were simply divine. The portions were impressively generous, ensuring no one left hungry, and the waitstaff provided service that was both friendly and attentive, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. Overall, it was an exceptional meal that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. Thanks guys!

This was our first time here. It was the worst service I think I have ever had. Totally ignored and we were the only people in the whole restaurant. The food was fine but the flies were horrible and we were sitting inside. I hope the owner knows what the employees are like and why customers won't come back

A truly hidden gem ? you are greated by one of the owners, the sister of the brother and sister duo who now own the restaurant. The brother is the executive chef. The cook has been cooking Italian cuisine for over a decade with them. The ambiance is very charming. The service is great and the food starting with the focaccia bread, crab cakes to the cioppino were absolutely delicious.Lunch is quiet but they become super busy for dinner. Lots of parking including handicap spots.Highly recommend this restaurant.

“If you're into culinary disappointment, the spaghetti and meatballs at this joint are a must-avoid. The pasta resembled something you'd find at the bottom of a school cafeteria tray, and the meatballs were like tiny, flavorless rocks. Unless you enjoy punishment, steer clear of this sorry excuse for Italian cuisine." Waitress with the braces didn’t greet us when she came to the table. I guess she doesn’t want to be there.

Hands down the best Eggplant Parmesan dish I have ever had. Amazing flavor. Great spaghetti and meatballs, and the wedge salad and grilled chicken were delicious too. All around amazing food.
