Small place with lots of tables. The food is very good, but they definitely need more help. The waitress has to take your order and bust their own tables too. You really have to track someone down to get more refills. On a Thursday for breakfast was pretty busy. Will try this place again

Went here because reviews were so high. Very disappointed. The French toast was flat like an iron had been placed on them, the country potatoes were dry and tasteless The Monty Cristo, which was only on the online menu was overcooked and had 1 thin slice of turkey and overpowered w ham. Oil tasted old and everything on the plate tasted the same. Sorry guys, we won’t be back

came in for breakfast and unfortunately didn’t have a good meals. The food was greasy, and it was obvious the oil used was old—it had a bad aftertaste that ruined the meal. The coffee tasted cheap and stale, making it nearly undrinkable.

I had the garden omelette, and it was surprisingly fresh and flavorful. The vegetables were clearly fresh and cooked just right. The coffee was also fresh, and the overall quality really stood out.
What impressed me most was the service — the waiter was genuinely kind, attentive, and made the experience feel personal. The place is very clean, including the restrooms, which is always a good sign.
I left feeling satisfied and cared for — definitely planning to come back. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a fresh, clean, and warm breakfast spot in Simi Valley!

Just always looking for a “mom and pop” type of restaurant and it was just perfect. The atmosphere was quaint, great variety on the menu and the food was better than most of the places I’ve visited in California. Good find; will definitely come again when in this area 😀

I have to edit my review it used to be a great place to eat that is not so the service not what it was I was there and stood for 5 minutes before I was seated then the waiters dismissed me when I told her I knew what I wanted no offer of coffee just to wait I look around could tell that no body seating was Happy I left went to another restaurant they were busy but still took time to offer coffee seat me right away and took my order I hate to see.my favorite restaurant go.these way if they continue to lose consumers like me that are long time costumers they will go out of business
And the sad.part is they were not that busy and service was bad when the owners are not there these is not the place to go

Ordered a Pancake Combo and Breakfast Sandwich. Food was perfectly seasoned. My compliments to the Chef. My favorite part of the restaurant is the syrup dispenser.

Tried the Scrambled Eggs Cafe today for a late breakfast. I always like to try Eggs Benedict at a new place. I was not disappointed. Hollandaise sauce was creamy, smooth and flavorful. They supplied a large steak knife but the edge of the fork was all I needed to slice through the ham and muffin. Hash browns were cooked but not overly crispy. My wife had the California Country Benedict which has a biscuit and gravy instead of muffin and Hollandaise. Again everything on point. Home made habanera salsa was the perfect addition. The rest of the menu looked delicious as well. Definitely worth the visit.

This place is a great new find. The food was so fresh and everything was delicious. We had a breakfast sandwich on sourdough, meat lover’s skillet, strawberry banana Nutella pancakes, and the coffee was perfect. The owner and waitstaff were all so friendly and gave great service. Will definitely be back again.

Recommended dishes: Meat Lover's Skillet, House Breakfast Sandwich
Decided to take a break from the office and grab a good hearty breakfast. Googled this spot and the pictures sold me. Was attended too right away and recommended the Meat Lovers skillet. Although that sounded tasty the Country Fried steak caught my eye and got that instead. It was delicious. The house gravy was really good and the steak was cooked perfectly. My biz partner and I sat for a bit longer than usual and before we got up saw Chuck Lidell sitting at the booth behind us. That was pretty cool as well. For my Simi friends I def recommend this spot.
