Just went here for the first time and I’m super impressed. Got the chicken tikka masala and for dessert, the gajar halwa (carrot dish), along with rice and a side of cucumber salad. It was all very tasty. I also met the owner, who was super personable. The place itself is huge, and the owner mentioned they do private parties. I’ll definitely be back—maybe even tomorrow!
Vegetarian options: They have a lot of vegetarian and meat options to satisfy everyone!

Taj Chaat House offers a delightful dining experience that caters to both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. The menu features a nice selection of dishes, showcasing the rich flavors of Indian cuisine without overwhelming the palate with excessive spice. Each dish is crafted with good quality ingredients, which truly enhances the overall taste and reminds you of comforting home-cooked meals.
What stood out during my visit was the pleasant and courteous demeanor of the staff members. They were attentive and eager to help, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a welcoming environment for guests.
Overall, Taj Chaat House is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Indian flavors, whether you're a meat enthusiast or prefer vegetarian options. The thoughtful balance of spices and the warm hospitality make it a place worth returning to. Highly recommended!

We heard about this place from our friends. Today we tried Chole Bhatura, Sag and Makki Kee Roti, an amazing tasteful Chole and Bhatura, Saag and Makki Ki Roti reminded me of Punjag in Simmi Valley. Service is great too

The food was good but too spicy and overpriced for the type of restaurant it is. I expected a sit down, order from a menu, from the table with a waiter/waitress. It is not that. You order fast food style at the counter and then sit at a table with a number, and they bring the food to you when it is ready.
I can not eat spicy due to digestion issues. I ordered the mild, and even the mild was too spicy. The level of spiciness was medium heat level at other Indian restaurants. It was tasty and good, but it being too spicy made me very sick later. I will not eat there again because I can't, it's too spicy.

Spinach Chat was really good. Kids really enjoyed the chicken makhni. Wasn't a big fan chicken kathi roll. Overall food had quality and was reasonably priced. Will be trying it again.
Kid-friendliness: You get get the main dishes in mild for spice level.

Chicken Tikka Masala (mild) and Baingan Bharta (mild) are excellent. This is the best Indian restaurant in Simi Valley, in my opinion. My wife concurs.
