Sweet Jesus! If you can't decide what to have, order a loaf of the sourdough. It is the BEST bread I have ever tasted...and I have tasted a LOT of sourdough in my lifetime. I had a chunk with butter for lunch...outstanding.

The monsier sandwich I had was very tasty BUT since it was very creamy I feel it would have been great if they put a pickle or something to break up the heaviness. Otherwise great

I have wanted to try The Baker's Daughter for a while now, but they are closed on my days off from work. Today, the stars aligned, and I was able to meet some friends for breakfast. All I can say is wow! I can't wait to go back.Everything looks so delicious and inviting. I ordered the Green Eggs & Prosciutto Tartine and a lavendar latte. The latte was perfect. The lavendar flavor was very subtle but enough to give the latte a nice flavor. My tartine was delicious. The flavors of the pesto, ricotta, prosciutto, and egg blended beautifully together. The sourdough bread was the perfect base. My friend ordered the Croque Madame and was very pleased with her order. She commented that the flavors melded well together. I also ordered some Pao de Queijo, which is a small cheese roll. It reminded me of something I had in Argentia called chipá, which is very similar. These were cheesy and delicious. I would go back just for these alone - they brought back memories of my time in Argentina. The service was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and made sure we were taken care of. You order and pay at the counter, and they will bring the food to you. There are some community style tables you can sit at inside and a few tables outside. They were baking and selling bread consistently the couple of hours that I was there. Each day, they have different breads available. Their Instagram account is a great place to get all of the info you need about what is available. There were also different pasties and cakes to choose from. They were baking fresh croissants when we left.Like I said, I can't wait to go back. This is such a lovely little bakery in Simi Valley that I hope sticks around for a long time.

Sandwich outstanding ❤️We had turkey BLT …..sourdough was freshly baked and taste so good!Almond cake was made with ricotta as staff said, you. You can taste in between cheese cake texture but almond flavor. Taste so good with coffee ☕️Love natural brown and cream color concept of this bakery cafe. Overall taste good. Definitely place I want to come back again.

Got a black tea was a bit pricy buuuuuuut it’s delicious. If you’re into plain tea, come here, there’s a slight hint of rainbow and sparkles in it.

A tale of two meals - my wife is pregnant, constantly craving avocados and avacado toast, so we decided to try this about 1 week ago as an alternative to the very pricey (for the portion size) Le Pain. We ordered the avocado tartine and I tried the souffled egg sandwich. The food was pretty good (the aoli on the sandwich was a little overpowering but that's a minor complaint). Today, we ordered the tartine again along with pancakes. Bread and pancakes uniformly burnt (not just a little dark-brown, but very much burnt), "fruit" component of pancake meal consisted of 7 small slivers of strawberry thrown haphazardly in the middle of aforementioned burnt pancakes. Whoever was preparing the food this morning was obviously either in a rush or a bad mood, but for the money I'd expect a little more care in the preparation. On the other hand, coffee and tea were both excellent both times. I'm giving 3 stars because I don't want to judge too harshly based on a single experience of overcooked food, but I doubt we would take the chance again.

Absolutely loved my visit for a quick brunch before seeing a client. The hot chai latte was so good, not over sweetened.
