I've had several breakfast meals here and they were good, EXCEPT for the chilaquiles. Far from authentic, stick to the American breakfast items.

Tío's is a mainstay for my wife and I. The food is good and very consistent in it's excellent quality. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The owner works in the restaurant, and she places great importance on customer satisfaction. The environment is casual, and you never have to wait more than a minute for seating. I have probably eaten at Tío's at least 50 times, so my comments are based on lots of "data". For breakfast I recommend the following: -Homemade corn beef hash and eggs -Country fried steak and amegcs -Machaca and eggs -Chorizo and eggs -The vegetarian omelette (and I am NOT a vegetarian) The burgers and all the hot sandwiches are excellent.
This is a very good, everyday restaurant where you can count on good food, good service and a friendly atmosphere. It is not "fine dining", but if it were, it would not survive in Simi Valley.

My first time here and it was the bomb ? food is great service really good, i guest that's one of the benefits of not being a food chain restaurant they have the time to really care for the service. I had the in house omelette (tio's omelette) great taste nice size just perfect. I totally recommend this place.

Solid diner for breakfast and lunch. They don't offer dinner anymore but that's ok.
We came for a late breakfast, and everything was delicious. The portions were generous, too. My daughter ordered the crepes, and I made sure to try them—they were excellent. The service was great, and the coffee was just right. Definitely recommended!

They accommodated our whole family of 30 plus, some vegetarians and some meat eaters. The service and the food was amazing and the staff so friendly and kind. They brought our food and everything we needed so quickly. I highly recommend this establishment. ?♥️

Nothing fancy about the decor. Has a cafeteria vibe. Music is usually Golden Oldies. Nothing wrong with that. Food is consistently very good. Very important. Overall cleanliness is perfect. Bathroom is perfectly clean and smells clean. So important. Plenty of TVs to watch. Service is always great, with a smile. Like comfort food? This is the place!

I have been here a couple of times, they advertised in local coupons magazines, but don't bother clipping the coupons because they are only good for M-F. What bothered me is even if you show up on weekdays you still can't use their stupid coupons if you order a "special plate" their reasons are because they are already discounted, I've never heard of such a thing at any restaurant.
