This was a grear place. I was out on a date . Saw this place. They were closing but let us in . Theybserved us ans we closed the place late as they put up the chais. The susci was great .really nice. Good people good food .try it

We're picky... And this sushi hits the spot every single time! Plus the hospitality from the owner, management and sushi chef is top notch. Almost hesitate writing a review because I'd love to keep this place to ourselves!! But then again, I'd rather see them THRIVE. Won't disappoint! And consider reaching beyond the sushi to the baked yellowtail - Heavenly!

Best Sushi Around!! What a great menu! Every time I go in there, the chef surprises me with his creative combinations. The appetizers are amazing but what really got me was the quality of the fish and huge assortment of unique rolls. The new ownership has done a great job of updating the look and feel of the dining area and their service is quick and friendly. Definitely check it out!
Over the top deliciousness ? Our waitress, Kaiya was so helpful and attentive. Definitely going to be coming here often.

My gf and I went there after reading dozens of amazing reviews of this place. First the good: The ambience and decor is iconic. Classic high end sushi dining experience. Chefs were culinary artists and the presentation was wonderful. Service was friendly and helpful. The sushi rolls were larger than other Simi Valley competitors, so the higher prices seemed allowable. We requested NO ADDED SALT. The bento box was large and delicious. Hand rolls and rainbow rolls were delicious. In truth, EVERYTHING TASTED AMAZING. Now the bad news: by the following day we both got very sick. We are both sensitive to salt, but salt never made me feel this sick. My gf was sick about 24 hours and I was sick almost three days. My guess is that they use MSG in their preparation and it made us very ill. If msg does not bother you, then you will enjoy Tokyo Sushi. If you react negatively to it, then ask first and request NO MSG in your food.
