This food is the best mexican food I've ever had in my life. I've been coming here for like 9 years since I was younger and oh my gosh it is so good i used to live in Simi valley and moved and I haven't had it for like 2 years and I've been trying to find a New Mexican restaurant where I live now and coming back too this from all the other Mexican restaurants just makes me realize how much better this food is compared to the others like I dont know what they put in the food but it is one of a kind.

Authentic Mexican food with a great variety of dishes on the menu and huge portions. Outdoor and indoor seating that is comfortable in a festive atmosphere. The service is always polite and helpful and accommodating.

I recently visited Yolanda’s Mexican Café in Simi Valley and was really impressed. The restaurant sits in a strip mall, which actually makes parking super easy—there’s plenty of it, and getting in and out is convenient. The inside has a warm, welcoming vibe, and you can tell it’s a favorite among locals.
They start you off with complimentary chips and salsa. The regular salsa is fresh and full of flavor, and they also bring out a warm, light-red bean-style salsa that really surprised me—in a good way. It’s unique and honestly one of the highlights.
I ordered the chicken and beef fajitas, which were about $23.00. The portion was generous, and both the chicken and beef were tender, juicy, and nicely seasoned. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly, and everything tasted like it came straight off the grill. Service was fast too, which made the whole experience even better.
Some locals say it’s the best Mexican restaurant in town. I haven’t tried every spot in Simi Valley, so I won’t go that far, but I can definitely say it’s one of the better Mexican restaurants I’ve been to anywhere.
If you’re in the area and craving good Mexican food with friendly service, easy parking, and great flavors, Yolanda’s is absolutely worth a visit.

This place has continuously trended down hill. Great atmosphere is the best thing I can say. We always order shrimp villa. Was the best thing on the menu. Lacks the great smoky taste it used to have. Size of the shrimp has deminished and are overcooked. Albondigas soup used to be included,
now have to pay alacart. And they ruined it. Used to be a clear broth with great crisp veggies and firm tasty meatballs. They have now turned it into a mushy thick unappatizing stew. Service at the take out counter took a turn when the waitress mistook my shrimp villa for chicken villa. She had to discuss with the manager for five minutes before correcting her mistake. And finally, very expensive. I'm done with Yolandas.

Went in for happy hour. The Margaritas were weak and the chicken wings were super overcooked and tiny
