The restaurant was understaffed and slow. There was one other table of 4 in the dining room, and it took over an hour for me to get anything but water. My meal arrived 20 minutes before everyone else's and I went to etiquette school. I can't eat until everyone is served. Appetizers arrived "after" the meal was served. They completely forgot to bring 2 of the 3 Bellini Drinks we ordered. The food was excellent, but overall it was a bad experience. My husband arrived hungry and couldn't wait over an hour for food. He worked in the restaurant industry for years (Il Fornio), and when meals cost as much as they do these days the expectation is customers will have good service. Being hungry and feeling ignored by the wait staff was more than he could take. He also has a medical condition and really needed something more than water after waiting an hour. Even a slice of bread would have helped. He left to get food elsewhere. I had to get a ride home from my son and his girlfriend who drove to Sloughhouse for lunch from the Bay Area. It was Dad's 88th birthday and he used to go to Sloughhouse all the time with Mom when she was alive. I had really hoped this would have been a much better experience.

Celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary tonight, every bite of our meal was absolutely fantastic! The service was spot on. Highly recommend this place, will be back soon.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the patio was lovely, but the service was by far the worst we have experienced. Our server, Alina, was lackadaisical at best. The family seated at a table next to ours, with a different server, was asking for the check before our entrees even came out. We watched tables that were seated well after ours receive appetizers -- the same that we had -- and entrees before we even got our appetizers. We had two appetizers, and our table was never fully cleared of the appetizer plates. And while the food was great, Alina never once asked how everything was or if we had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the poor service ruined the dining experience for all of us.

When we finally did get our food it was absolutely delicious, however, they should come by more often. Top off your water, bring bread to hold over the people while they're waiting for their meal to come out.

Today I had the pleasure of Brunch with my wife at The Slough House Kitchen, and the food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and there was a beautiful presentation and everything smelled very good. I asked if they could make us some French fries, even though they weren't on the menu, because I really love them. To my surprise, they managed to whip up a whole plate just for us! It was such a nice and unexpected touch.
Our waitress, I don't remember the name, but she loves animals very much, since we came with our dog, she was very kind and polite to us and our beloved girl. She made sure all of our needs were met promptly and with a genuine smile. If you’re looking for great food and service that goes the extra mile, this is the place!

Never been here before, but have heard of it over the years. Oyster Rockefeller were good. But the rest of the food didn't really have any flavor. The Ora was odd.

Randomly stopped here on the way back from Jackson. Amazing food! So fresh and delicious. We had burrata with heirloom tomatoes, insalata di mare, and spaghetti. Their sourdough bread was homemade and awesome. Definitely worth a stop!

We went here for the first time and had such a wonderful experience. We met one of the owners, Alisa, and she was so nice! Everyone was. They make their own bread that is amazing and the Stroganoff was delicious. Thank you, we'll be back!

I was taken here for my birthday celebration and it was a wonderful experience. The building is historic and the restaurant has a warm, rustic ambience with wooden floors and ceilings. The service was excellent and attentive and the food delicious. They make their own very delicious bread, vinegars and other items served in the restaurant and the food is locally sourced. It was a quality and memorable experience and perfect for a special occasion. I am planning to try out their brunch next.
