I was sitting inside The Fish District, actively eating, when I witnessed one of the most disgusting displays of hypocrisy and disrespect I’ve ever seen in a restaurant.
To customers’ faces, the employees and even the manager act fake-polite and overly nice, putting on a performance. But while I was seated there, I heard and saw—word by word, in real time—how they spoke to a delivery driver. There was no misunderstanding, no assumption. I heard exactly what was said and how it was said.
They spoke to the delivery person with open contempt, belittling them, dismissing them, and treating them like they were nothing. No professionalism. No respect. Just arrogance and cruelty. Watching this while sitting there made it painfully clear: this is how they treat people when they think it’s “safe” to do so.
Even worse, immediately after, I witnessed staff mocking customers behind their backs, laughing and making comments once people turned away. That kind of behavior doesn’t happen in isolation—it reflects the true culture of the workplace. Fake smiles in front, ugliness behind.
The food sadly matched the environment. It was greasy, low-quality, and shortly after eating, I became physically sick. I also saw what appeared to be old, dark oil being reused, which is beyond unacceptable and raises serious food safety concerns.
This place shows its real face when it thinks no one important is watching. Disrespecting workers, mocking customers, unsafe food practices—it’s all deeply disturbing.
I would not recommend The Fish District to anyone who values basic human decency, worker dignity, or food safety. This is not just a bad restaurant—it’s a bad operation. Avoid it.

The salmon & kale bowl is my favorite! I probably have it every other week if not once a week. I always order to go. When I walk in, the guy at the front has my to go bag in hand ready for me. Can’t get any better than that!

An awesome find after a nice hike. The place is clean and well kept, tables were regularly being wiped down to prepare for new customers. The options were plentiful and everyone found something on the menu that spoke to them. Everyone LOVED their food. It was so good. Chowder was amazing. Fries were goooood. Poke bowl and poke and chips were enjoyed by all. For the food alone it would be worth coming here. But my favorite part about visiting was getting to be helped by Christian. Never met him before but he took such good care of my family and friends, treated us all so kindly and helped us figure out the best options for what we wanted, ran the counter with ease during a busy lunch rush, and he and his team still had time to make sure the place was looking great. We walked out of there after our lunch and we all could not stop talking about how awesome Christian was. Will definitely come back for lunch again some day.
For the price, the food was more delicious than we expected. The New England clam chowder was an excellent starter. Sweetheart had the salmon & kale bowl and I had the blackened seared ahi tuna bowl. We were both impressed. We definitely would eat here again!

Fresh, filling, and flavorful poke bowl! Best I’ve had! Five stars! ⭐️ All aspects of the food and presentation were perfect. Avocado, as an extra, was perfect. Ample serving. Really enjoyed. Will come again.

Really good food. It's in a strip mall so the atmosphere is plain. Metal chairs, wooden tables.. nothing fancy. Good food, decent portions with a soda fountain for refilling your drinks.
