Mia's is a fantastic new addition and a favorite spot in Solana Beach, offering an incredible and creative menu with spectacular, imaginative food. The atmosphere and vibe are great, with a solid, crushed atmosphere featuring great lighting, cozy booths, and a lively yet comfortable sound level. The staff is super friendly, and the service is superb, warm, attentive, and on point.
The food is 10/10, with outstanding, fresh, and perfectly prepared fish dishes. Standouts include the fish tacos, ceviche, Octopus tacos, skirt steak, chile rellano, Australian prawns, and Mary's chicken. For share plates, the pappas & mole, roasted carrots, mezze platter, and volcano tostada are flavorful and unique. The real stars are the oysters, considered the best in the area. Portions are generous and reasonably priced.
The restaurant boasts an extensive margarita menu, fabulous drinks, a great wine selection, and a thoughtful alcohol selection, especially tequila and mezcal. It is an incredible gem and a go-to in the neighborhood, with guests excited to return for brunch and more dinner items.
