Place rocks and is a staple for us. The staff is laid back and friendly and very attentive, the food is excellent tasting and always hot and fresh, the fish and chips is the best in San Diego and the drinks are perfectly mixed. Ryan the manager and occasional bartender is a gem and it’s always a great experience to eat there. Atmosphere is coastal cool with numerous TVs to catch a sporting event

Finally made it here after passing by so many times with intentions to make it in one day. Limited but solid draft list, mostly local brews. Great pub food menu with some unique house options. Decided to finally stop by after a bad service experience at Pizza Port. Not the first time so may be giving up on my regular spot and making this a part of the SB rotation.

Pillbox is one of our favorite stops when we are out on a ride up the coast, or coming back home from a coastal motorcycle ride.
It's always been a fun time when we drop in.. we have had motorcycle events, birthdays, other events, and tuesdays :)
Thank you for always being good to us and our friends.

The food is very tasty.. especially the tacos. Drinks are always mixed well... staff is friendly.

A go to stop for sure.....
