Update/edit February 2026: regretfully adding details that I shouldn’t be surprised about but saddened by. This is my local spot, I’ve come here at least 30 times. But like any business that grows too much, they’re blind to the changes that originally made them so popular. Still a busy place so I’m sure my opinion won’t matter. But really it comes down to service here. It used to be a chill spot with approachable and friendly staff. Now it’s a bunch of bums who project their insecurities on others. Especially a few of the women. Completely obnoxious the way they talk to customers, from regulars like me to the first time visitors. Pretentious and snobby, which is wild considering where you work. This is supposed to be the quintessential San Diego vibes. Disappointing and likely not coming back now, it’s that bad (and not the first time). Also, on a weekend when you’re releasing a new beer, maybe get more than one keg so everyone can enjoy it? What kind of business is this now? Dropped all scores from five stars. / Can’t believe I haven’t left a review yet considering I stop by at least monthly. An institution in Solana Beach. Where locals go for a great atmosphere, great pizza, and obviously delicious beer. Friendly folk, good vibes, would even say very family friendly. Lunch specials are a can’t miss. Constantly rotating beer options from their various locations but also some solid guest beers. Love the creativity they grant the PP locations around SD. My true “regular” spot. Always awesome!

Pizza sucks, people suck, I’m sure the beer sucks too if I drank. Pizza tastes worse than reheated Chucky Cheese. Ordered online for pick up, wouldn’t give us paper plates and napkins, not out just not feeling it I guess. Why offer things on your website you’re just going to refuse in person? Not sure what the deal is here but definitely not a good pizza spot. Yes that’s a pic of PizzaPort not 7/11 although I think I’d rather have 7/11.

Best pizza in the Solana Beach, Encinitas area by far! Crust, toppings & sauce are perfect my Go To is the San Francisco well done with extra sauce 😋

Ordered the Margherita pizza and it was absolutely positively the worst pizza I ever had. It looked and tasted like a kindergartner made it with no cheese. I want my money back. What a joke.

Absolutely fantastic experience! We ordered a fully loaded pizza that was out of this world—crispy crust, perfectly melted cheese, and packed with flavor. The Mango Suman beer was the perfect pairing—refreshing, unique, and delicious. But what really made the visit special were the people—every single staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell they love what they do. Great vibes, great food, great beer. Can’t wait to come back to Pizza Port! 🍕🍺
