Adrienne is my favorite person at Red Tracton’s! She always has the best energy, and I always leave having had a great experience here when I get to see her. She’s so warm, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. You can tell she really cares and that kind of service makes all the difference!

We just spent >$400 on cold unseasoned food. Sadly I would not recommend going here for the food.

Amazing experience! The tables were clean, and the servers were polite! (I didn't go to the bathrooms, so I'm not sure about those) The main dishes take a while to get out, I recommend checking out the menu before you go or at least order an appetizer and your entrée at the same time. By the time you get the entrée the appetizer will have settled! Prime rib bites were an amazing appetizer. They come with some type of broth to dip it in. Oh my goodness, it makes you want to know the recipe! Took a while for our server to attend to us after we received and finished our entrée. We went on a Saturday night. It got a little busy around 7 pm, so I understood, but geesh, I was ready to leave! Overall it was great, I was a little surprised at the sparatic moments of banging in the kitchen, and of the young man whom you can tell is in charge. A few loud disruptive bangs from the kitchen, as well as the head guy constantly talking/yelling loud about what needed to happen around the restaurant. All disruptive enough to mention here! My preference is to not be startled about another table needing a high chair.. anyway! Great experience overall. I'll probably go back only for the piano bar and dessert, when I'm feeling bougie, because this place is really expensive.

Not a restaurant that I would consider returning to. The server was very pleasant however, the food was not good. We started with a lemon drop martini that had an off taste and very little of a lemon flavor. The appetizers we ordered were the potato skins and bacon wrapped scallops. Neither appetizer were edible. The potato skins tasted like they were fried and old grease, and the bacon wrapped scallops did not taste like scallops at all. The clam chowder was decent. After the experience of the appetizers, we opted to not order dinner.

It is very difficult to rate such a good place during the hectic pressures of New Year.
otherwise this restaurant is highly respected establishment with good food, service and atmosphere.

Amazing! We had the Tuna, filet with béarnaise, and mac and cheese. The service and ambience was excellent. Pricey but matched how high quality the food was.

Absolutely fantastic New Year's Eve dinner and party ... Food was great ... Service was super and Gaby our server was just so personable and fun ... Music is always good and everyone was having a blast. This is always a great restaurant for dinner or even just cocktails ... Best steaks in San Diego and a treasure !! Rolf

Liked the food & our server gave great service, food is extremely expensive, small portions, ordered 2 jumbo shrimp for 26$ they were extremely small and not worth the $$ I paid. I will NOT be going back to this restaurant.

I recently had the immense pleasure of dining here. The shrimp cocktail-- simply sublime. I adore the vibe, menu and staff. A perfect little gem in the paradise of north county!

We were in town visiting for a week and made Christmas reservations. So, this was our first experience here. The reviews seemed promising. But, our experience was really disappointing. We arrived at 6pm and were seated quickly. The decor and vibe was… interesting. Someone in the reviews said super classy? Huh? Televisions and cheap decorations do not make a restaurant classy in my book. The path to the bathroom was dingy, I was shocked.

When we met our server, he seemed very out of it and bothered to be there (I get it, it was Christmas but c’mon dude). Didn’t crack a smile and wasn’t personable at all. Like, we were bothering him. So, that immediately changed the whole experience for us. He often disappeared and we felt forgotten about. Had to flag someone down for water. When we ordered our food, we’re told salmon was out. Also they were also out of lettuce we later heard from a nearby table. It took over an hour to get our entrees. We ordered filets, halibut (because salmon was out) and the seafood pasta. With some sides, gratin potatoes and broccolini. Both cold and underwhelming in flavor. Mushroom with the filets were cold and not flavorful as well. We’ve had comparable steaks that didn’t cost what they did, but we recognize the area we were in. The pasta was decent, but had to ask for the garlic bread that went with it which they forgot about. Overall, it just wasn’t special at all. I was with my in-laws, so I was really hoping it would impressive them. We didn’t order dessert because we just wanted to leave. The cost of this place is really high for the experience we had. Which, made it sting even more. We felt robbed. We would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Agree with others. Slow to get your food. Not hot when received. Seems to be an attitude that you should be lucky to be there.
