If you are looking for the best authentic Mexican food in North County San Diego, look no further than Roberto‘s Taco Shop Solana Beach. They have everything you need and the food is delicious. I have been eating here for years and years and love it. They helped fuel my body with energy during my 57 Adventures in 57 Hours in San Diego.

Parking: Parking spaces for about 10 vehicles and street parking is nearby. Right on the 101.

Kid-friendliness: Nice place to sit down and the food is perfect for the munchkins

I liked to eat a meal there because I was hungry. The girl who took the order was rude and her way of dealing with customers was not good. I ordered nachos with steak and it was not good. A bad experience that I will not repeat. I hope that this girl learns how to respect customers.

I would pass on this place. Very pricey and they do a great job using massive amounts of filler to avoid using the protein selected.

I order beef rolled tacos. They put about a teaspoon of beef in the tacos. They roll and fry them. When you bite i to one, you can see if is about 5 layers of tortilla. I did not even finish the meal.

Customer service is a crucial aspect of any business, and treating people with respect and kindness should be a given. Unfortunately, Robert’s falls short in this regard. I hope they take steps to improve their customer service and train their staff to be more courteous and helpful to customers in the future. My experience was with Veronica and hopefully she gets more training.

Does the job of filling the gullet, but the tacos aren’t like a good street taco (not much cilantro, no lime, shrimp not grilled, etc.). Fish taco tasted like fish & chips.
