SADDLE BAR IS GOOD!
Nice dive bar. Has GTG. Bartender was friendly with good service. Sunday night is open mic and gets a little rowdy and live.
Confrontational bar staff. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. I guess violence is encouraged here. I like to have a beer and watch the game and not be harassed.
Cheers
What's not to love about this place? I always have a pleasant time here. The bartenders and fellow patrons are awesome.
Very chill during the day and gets crowded at night--especially during the open mic nights, which are epic.
Female Bartender doesn't know the difference between Hazy IPA and West Coast non Hazy. The other bartender had to correct her..she was actually getting a little mad that I corrected her?
Best pre and post Del Mar bar, period. Mike the owner pours the Guinness himself and their jukebox kicks ass. 5 stars. See you at Breeders '25!

Great 49er atmosphere. Friendly people who are die hard Niners fans.
Kyle the bartender is great conversation and makes the bar feel welcoming and friendly. It's clean, quaint, and welcoming atmosphere for out of towners, with delicious drinks.

Fun little spot a block from Fletcher's Cove Beach. The parking lot between the bar and the beach is open to the public on nights and weekends, there were several spots available. The bar room is cute and small with nice bar top booths lining the walls. Of course they have golden tee, sorry for the pun. Haven't been in years, it has changed a lot. Used to be called the Surf and Saddle and it had more of a country theme. It was a little rougher, where it has a cigar bar feel now.
The bartender was friendly, good pour, and it was pretty lively with people coming and going and a dog sitting at the bar ?

I've driven by this place numerous times but never decided to stop in. On a recent visit, it happened to be Karaoke night, and there was clearly some local talent performing. It's definitely a very local bar.
