If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. I am a type 1 diabetic, and I accurately dosed myself with insulin to account for the meal as we were waiting for it to come out. However, T's Café failed to communicate that our food would take over 50 minutes to arrive, causing my blood sugar to drop dangerously low, to below 53. When notified of the situation, our server responded that the food would be "ten more minutes" for the second time, and had to be hounded to offer active assistance as I neared fainting. The manager comped my meal, but refused to do the same for my two friends who dined with me. Our server never checked back in or offered any apology, was extremely passive aggressive, and did not check if I was okay. The lack of communication and responsibility resulted in a terrible and dangerous experience at a previously enjoyable spot. A table behind us that was seated after us received their check before we got our food. No mistakes were acknowledged. Please do better.

Came here with friends while visiting their condo. We had an omelet and scrambled eggs and it's interesting how they charge a little for everything over and above the basic price, but generally only $1.00 for adding spinach or tomatoes or chili but add $2 for egg whites only. JB was a good server and was available as needed and it's a nice place for breakfast for lunch.

Friendly service, yummy food, ample amount of indoor/outdoor seating. We sat at the bar (there was a 10 minute wait for a table) which was perfect. The bartender/server Uzbek was attentive, helpful and friendly. We put in our orders fairly quick, but they did take a while to come out- id say 20-30 min. Both dishes were yummy, except for my biscuits - they felt overdone and hard, not that edible. The coffee was good and so was the OJ. *on a Sunday, they were pretty slow until about 10:30 - that's when we saw a line start to form :) Enjoy!

Usually don't leave bad reviews but I was very disappointed with my experience. Can't comment on the food because I didn't get to eat any. Came here with my boyfriend and dad, got seated right away and order taken. 25min went by and our server came over for the first time and told us it would be a few more minutes. Another 25min went by (50min since we ordered) and my boyfriend went up to ask our server what was going on. It seems like something happened/our order wasn't put in and they were going to work on it right away. Unfortunately, with it being almost an hour, we opted to leave and go elsewhere. Unfortunately didn't have a good experience :(

Live in Solana Beach and haven't been here in a long time. 3 of us decided to go on a Saturday. There was no crowd but we waited but not too long. Service was not good. Took awhile to get greeted and then even longer to get our drinks. No coffee refills were ever offered. The cups were like child cups so small. The food was good but not worth the cost. 3 basic breakfast meals was $70 then add tip. For breakfast that's just too much. Took forever to get our check. The all around experience was not good. Won't be going back.

Was seated right away, but the waitress that seated us disappeared. Was not offered water, while every other table was. All other tables were waited on while we waited for 15 minutes before we had to call someone over ourselves to order (restaurant was not busy at all). When we finished eating, we called over the same waitress to get our bill. Before even finishing our sentence, she turned away and helped someone else. We then had to call another waiter (again) to get our bill. Do not know if this was all about race, but it sure felt like it (we are asian while almost everyone else was white/mexican). The food was also not good. Overall a bad place and left feeling disrespected.

Service was prompt and pleasant Food was fresh and tasty. I got the beet salad and a Tuna sandwich and it was a big portion.

I always enjoy a good biscuit and gravy breakfast, but mine wasn't very good. Biscuit were hard as rock gravy had no flavor, sorry cause we have always enjoyed our breakfast there. The service was ok and the ambiance ok could use a little updating but all in all it was A little disappointing.

I have been here twice and both were not great experiences. It is your average diner but the first time our party waited 1.5 hours for the food and we chalked it up to it happens and we did not write them off. The second time to start the new year we waited 1.5 ours AGAIN for our food. The food was not cooked well, the service was very rude, they had bad excuses. They had said they had a reservation of 20 that was being focused on which is not the best thing to say to a table of 8 waiting for their food. They were out of potatoes and for a breakfast place that is not a great look.

Our second less than stellar breakfast in Solana Beach in one week. It looks like a place that has been there for a long time. Probably beloved by the locals but if so it's resting on its laurels. There were 4 of us for breakfast. We were seated promptly in a booth as we requested. Downhill from there. 2 coffees were ordered. They arrived 3/4 full full of grounds, obviously the bottom of the pot. A promise of fresh coffee was promised but slow to be delivered. As we started to order we found they were out of several breakfast essentials. No sausage, hash browns or pancakes. My husband ordered chicken fried steak which arrived without the promised gravy. When he requested gravy a cup of coagulated lump was delivered. I ordered a skillet with home fries, Swiss cheese, chorizo and scrambled eggs. It arrived with potatoes that were pretty hard and overcooked chorizo. No toast was forthcoming until we reminded the server to bring it with the aforementioned fresh coffee. So you get the idea, slow service, crummy food and the tab for the four of us was over $100 with tip. There is a Dennys on Via de la Valle and Hwy 5. It's probably a better choice.

I have been coming here for years and I love this place. Perfect cozy breakfast and lunch food and walking distance from the beach. The staff are always super friendly and it really feels like a local spot that is part of the community. Cannot recommend enough.

The wait was over an hour, the Waitress was rude and we had an automatic charge of 22 percent of the bill even though we had to send a plate back due to dirty lettuce.

Small portions. Bad food, my lettuce was rotten. Took 45 minutes for food to come out. Service was bad, she left us in the middle of several conversations, including randomly while we were talking. Worst service I've ever had. There was black mold on the top of the ceiling as well in some corners. Bathrooms weren't clean at all. Overall, gross place.
