I ordered drive through, I went to the window waited for my drinks and when the drinks were handed to me in a flimsy tray the drinks fell on my lap with one bathing me. The entire drink was poured on my chest. I should have contacted headquarters! The lids and the trays are a problem at Starbucks! Check the tray and double check the lids!! Gotta get my truck cleaned… thanks Starbucks!

We stopped here in Soladad and had a nice break at Starbucks while we waited for our EV to charge. Service was quick and it was not too crowded inside. The staff were very friendly and the cafe was super clean.

Drink was made to standards. It's the wait time and attentiveness of Staff that was a bit of an issue for me. I had to order on the app while inside because Baristas were tending to the drive thru, cleaning the warming station, and chatting with one of the regulars while I stood there waiting to be greeted. So the next next thing is to step out of line and place an order in the app.
Interior, overall, was clean. Bathroom appeared to require a bit of attention.

Quick service. Place was clean. Drinks are priced like they have a dozen eggs in them, but hey, ‘bucks’ is right in the name, kids!

First impressions... 15 people in line to register ahead of my wife... 15 more behind her. I had plenty of time for a glass of wine. We get to our room to find dirty laundry in the shower. Housekeeping brought us a lot more. 🤔 Something lost in translation.
We had a wheel chair room, and we found the shower head wrapped around the bar. See pics. Upon closer inspection, the sliding bracket is broken. See pics. Shower head bracket won't adjust. It stays at the highest point. Some idiot placed a screw to prevent the shower head from adjusting. See pic. Ah, that answers the bar confusion. At something like $450 a night, (my wife booked) you'd think they could afford a working shower head adjustment bar just to keep the ada room in compliance.
Mixed bag on staff: some very friendly and some with an attitude and not friendly at all. It's either 5 or 2 stars for staff, but there were more 2's than 5's.
The lodge is old and rustic and looking a bit haggard. The dining area is just old looking. We had breakfast there, and it was average when compared to any other hotel that serves a complimentary breakfast.
Our room was large with 2 beds, a sitting area, and a fau fireplace. There was a small tv in a large armoire. The tv would be impossible to see at any distance without binoculars... ok, maybe not 'any' distance, but by today's standard, in such a large room, it was small. The room appeared clean, save some debris on the carpet, and was quite comfortable including the bed.
This stay was during their Christmas Market which may may be responsible for some of their unhappy staff and draconian rules. For me, totally over priced for what we got. My wife is less unhappy than me and we might have to go back with the grandkids next year. I hope they have the shower head fixed by then.

This place is a regular Starbucks but my problem is the manager.
This person does not know how to treat a paying customer and I hope upper management replaces this person
I went to purchase a reusable cup for my wife in Christmas eve so I could give it to her as a present and an employee named Ethan helped me and even though they didn’t have the cup I wanted on display, Ethan searched for it and found one similar
I was very happy and I thanked him a few times.
When he tried to scan it he encountered an issue and asked for help
The manager (a bearded guy) came to help but quickly gave up and just said no
Not for sale and Ethan apologized and I said at was ok I thanked him for trying but I left empty handed. My intention was to purchase an item, in a business that should be able to help customers.
I as a manager in a different business I appreciate all sales and all my customers, I make sure that if an employee brings me a customer problem or will solve it. Specially something so simple as a sale.
I know this guy was management because the previous day he was having an employee meeting when I went for coffee with my wife
I will not be going to this place any more and when I get sturbucks gift certificates I will just re-gift them to other people from other places and I will share my story
This guy does not understand customer service and does not care about his customers even on Christmas Day

This has to be one of the most filthiest Starbucks centers that I came across. Tables were not at all cleaned and there was visible filth on the seats. Don't know if it was coffee or something else. Won't ever come back here again.
