Really wouldnt recommend over the other stores in the area. Other stores offer a better experience, better flavors and better customer service. The lady working there was absolutely rude and didnt offer any form of assistance. If youre in the area id avoid this spot and buy elsewhere

Extremely rude owner. Walked in and was met with her ignoring us. Too busy cleaning her counter and ignored us for minutes before even saying anything to us. Gave us a rude "are you guys ready?" And didn't offer to try anything. Instantly left and took our business elsewhere. Lady needs to learn how to treat customers

My friends and I stopped by Alisal Ice Cream on Sat, 3/11/2023 a little after 3:30PM. They had tons of flavors including the following: Vanilla Cream, Rocky Road, Pistachio Nut, Pecan Praline, Choc Chip Cookie Dough, Strawberry Cheesecake, Mocha Almond Fudge, Coconut Pineapple, Choc, Mint Chip, Cookies, Choc Chip, Bubble Gum, Spumoni, Butter Pecan, Coffee Bean, Cotton Candy, Black Cherry I ended up ordering: 1 Scoop Mint Chip w/ Waffle Cone - $6.41 (including tax, price as of 3/2023) - You cannot go wrong with Mint Chip, which is my go-to ice cream flavor. Quite yummy, one scoop comes out to be like two in your waffle cone. Definitely hit the spot, and was a little dessert after our lunch! Store Exterior: They have a cute little sign with their name in pink along with an ice cream cone. Would be cute to take pics outside and enjoy your cone! Customer Service: The lady who helped us was so nice and patient when we took a little bit of time deciding what flavor to get! She was so cheery and didn't rush us at all! I'd consider coming back next time I'm back in Solvang!

The lady was outrightly rude and arrogant to us. We were in a large group of 8-10 people with 3 kids (all asians) and the shop was completely empty, there were No other guests in the shop. The sign at the entrance said - "Free Ice cream tasting". Kids got excited and asked for samples for 2 flavors. She outrightly rejected saying only 1 sample per person because she is very busy and cant serve more than 1 sample per child. We ended up buying 3 cones (single scoop) for ~$20 odd - nothing special about the taste/flavor etc. When we wanted to share our ice-creams and asked for few plastic spoons, she said 1 spoon per ice-cream purchased. I should have gone to some other non-busier place for ice-cream. Bad experience, will never go back.

There is a large ad for free samples; however the older woman working there was very rude mannered and seemed especially upset at being asked for a sample, despite the ad…I almost thought maybe the ad was for another shop next door or something. Two in our party decided not to get ice cream or a cookie box we were already set on due to the rude attitude

Good ice cream, not great service.Considering that this is an ice cream shop and is supposed to be "fun" the worker did not seem excited at all. Not quite friendly either. I wish I could rank this higher, but the entire time she just unfortunately seemed sour.Their window hugely advertised "free samples," however every time we asked for one, she did not look like she was having it.The ice cream is relatively expensive ($6 a scoop)and the service was not as great as we'd like.Probably won't return

Entrance to the left of the exterior. Cute little shop. Pricier, but that’s to be expected in Solvang. Lots of good flavors. The rainbow sherbet was soft and delicious. Rocky road was standard. They will let you try before you buy! Yummy!

Me and my family visited Solvang yesterday (07/16/2022) and we decided to stop by Alisal Ice Cream on a very hot 90-degree day. We chose our flavors (I chose a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cone). The ice cream tasted great and helped us cool off from the heat. The lady there was friendly too! Be sure to stop by Alisal Ice Cream when you visit Solvang!

This is a good little ice cream shop. We usually come here and get their cotton candy ice cream which is really good and unique. It is a little bit pricey but so is everything else here in Solvang. They also have a couple other random little things you can buy other than ice cream and they have a soda fountain.
