This place is amazing! My husband and I chose to eat here before we got into town. It did not disappoint. I got the salmon and eggs benedict, and I was in love, the hollandaise sauce paired well with the tater tots, too. My husband got the flakey toast, and he really enjoyed them. We ordered a Monte Cristo to try it out for the first time, and it was pretty good, too. We had a great breakfast before heading home.

Its funny how we sometimes want to do another roadtrip to Solvang just so we can have breakfast here again ? hubby will be thrilled as he keeps talking about the best biscuits and gravy he EVER had in his entire life!Very simple breakfast place with a but of a farmhouse feel. Lots of choices for breakfast but we ended up getting Monte Cristo (sooo filling), nutella banana pancakes for the kids which they devoured in minutes, and biscuits and gravy which again left hubby in awe and still keeps talking about it up to this day (we went last December).Not much wait when we showed up about 9:30 in the morning. Other pancake/waffle places were packed and we also tried them but I would say nothing really special about it. This place however, you need to try the biscuits and gravy!!!

We had been seated for not even 10 minutes when our food arrived (party of four). We were all pleasantly surprised at the fast service and really enjoyed the quality of food. The veggie eggs benedict, huevos rancheros, and hot chocolate were the standout items from what we ordered.

Yuck! We paid for 2 meals, went to the bathroom, and by the time we sat 30 seconds later, the food was out. So we are eating precooked warming oven garbage. If I wanted mediocre diner food, I'd go to a dennys. Bland and boring tourist trap. Coffee was gross and burnt.
