They dont offer samples on their ice cream or gelato, they are WAY over priced, and when I asked for which item was the most popular, I was offered the most expensive boxed item in the store. There were no listed prices on anything.
And maybe it was just a glitch, but when I ended up paying, it immediately added a tip and jumped to the next screen, and they said they couldnt offer me a printed receipt.

Do not eat here unless you feel like getting swindled. I ordered two pieces of baklava and a pistachio chocolate bar plus a bottle of smart water. She rang me up and the total was $43. I was very confused. She said the chocolate bar was $26. I said “I wasn’t aware of that” as they have no prices listed for the desserts. She says it’s because they make the nut butter? So am I to assume the cheaper desserts are not made in house? Very confused. $26 is an insane price for a small chocolate bar. (Pic included. Hand for scale.) I was made aware after the fact that there is some trendy tik tok thing called “Dubai chocolate”? Still a ridiculous price.
Giving 2 stars because most of the staff was nice at least and our bagels and coffee were decent enough.
PLEASE POST YOUR DESSERT PRICES.

Solvang!
Only coffee shop left and the choices did not disappoint. Not too long of a wait.

The only vegan dessert was sugar-free baklava, which was $4.50 for a small piece (2 bites) and ehhh. Also the employee (co-owner?) was odd and decidedly unfriendly.

Finally found something substantial and vegan in this town! Laid back place, vegan wrap, avocado toast, labeled treats.

A great little spot for lunch with a beautiful shared courtyard! They had a couple of vegan options. A wrap with hummus, avocado, eggplant and zucchini, and a sandwich with hummus, avocado, cucumber and tomato. Both were very tasty, though I felt the wrap was a bit more substantial. They offer a vegan protein shake with dates and peanut butter called the Freaky Vegan that was delicious and quite filling. Bagged chips and fresh juices were available as well.
