Number one restaurant was very warm inside no fans no air conditioning nothing number two. The servers had the personality of a turnip. I don't understand how they work there. Terrible service had to ask numerous times for ice never eat here again and that's OK. There's plenty of other places in Solvang that are better

We’ve been to a couple Michelin starred restaurants, and they’re usually over the top in food service and atmosphere. Coast Range is a very nice place, but I don’t know if I’d compare it to others,we’ve visited. Not really dissatisfied at all, just not 5~stars all around.

I love the food. No matter the wait or if the adjacent bar gets loud, I will still eat here because the food makes me very happy. So don’t let the crowd that forms around the bar next door stray you away from good food.

We went with group of 5 on Wednesday night. the host totally ignored us .no greeting no welcoming.I start to talk to here ask her we need table for 5they had tables empty ready she told me it take 20 minutes they will call me .after 40 minutes we back tables was empty she saw that we had 3 seniors citizen .she didn’t care about guest I asked my family to set on empty table ready for six we set again we wait for 30 more minutes no body care it’s so annoying the guy served the water with out even say “Hi”.food was delicious we choose them for high rated food but embarrassing services was the worst that I saw in my life .how bad is working in famous place and being rude and so mean.owner should make a good decision because the are very rude and unprofessional.i had old people with me so I didn’t have choice to leave this place .we paid for very very bad services don’t recommend that place .
We had pretty good food here and terrible service. We were sat (showed ourself to a table) and then waited for a while, ended up going to get our own menus cause no one came over to us, then took a long while to order and once we got our food 1 order was wrong (had to redo the burger) and then our kids chicken was so salted it was almost inedible. My husband liked his breakfast crunch wrap.

We arrived in Solvang pretty late and stopped by half an hour before closing. The administrator and the waitress were super friendly and professional. I had the best beef stroganoff in my life, seriously. On the way out I realized that the place was in Michelin guide for 3 years in a row. Very well deserved!

Michelin recognized spot in Solvang. Had a reservation for 4 on a Friday at 7pm but they seated us late even though we arrived 3 minutes early. It was busy when we arrived, but even as the night went on and there were less people, it still took an hour and a half to receive our entrees. My dad literally sobered up during our dinner even after a bottle of wine - we spent a lot of time waiting at the restaurant, whether it was to order, get plates cleared, or get water.
Food-wise, it was decent but not Michelin quality. We had the crispy mozzarella arugula salad and crispy rice spicy tuna to start. The spicy tuna was not spicy but the crispy rice had a nice texture. The salad was well dressed and the mozzarella with mortadella was a good offset to the bitterness of the arugula. I split the rib eye with my boyfriend and ordered medium rare, but certain parts were cooked medium well. I think the steak rested too long underneath the heat lamp, because my mom’s filet mignon was supposed to be medium, but seemed more well done. They do have French fries (not on the menu); we had mushrooms on the side but those arrived a bit cold. We ended with the brownie sundae, which was my favorite part of the meal.
To their credit, the chef gave us a 10% discount for waiting so long for our meal. We appreciated the gesture very much. I think that if you want to come here, you must ensure that you have time for a leisurely meal.
This spot has a fantastic location right in the heart of Solvang’s charming downtown, making it a great place to stop while exploring the area. I tried their beer and really enjoyed it—flavorful and refreshing. I didn’t sample any of their other drinks, so I can’t speak to those, but the service overall was decent—not amazing, but not bad either. The food portions were very generous, definitely big enough to share if you’re not super hungry. I ordered the Caesar salad, but unfortunately it was far too salty for my taste. That said, it’s still a nice place to relax and hang out with a drink, especially if you’re looking to enjoy the small-town atmosphere and people-watch a bit.
