Food is good & beer is excellent, but the place is dirty, unkept and the condiment bar is a health hazard.
During a June visit to Solvang, many of the restaurants were closed early. So we were happy to find this place open later and a little less expensive than other restaurants in Solvang. It was also very busy.
We tried the Sausage Sampler which showcases different sausages from around the world. We chose these 3 sausages: Rod Polse, Bratwurst, & Kielbasa. We also tried the Apple & Arugula Salad and All American Burger. We enjoyed our food and the atmosphere of just being in Solvang. Seating here is all outdoors, so bring a jacket. It was chilly the night we came.
Really good beer garden. We didn't know we loved sausages so much š¤£
Worst soft drink Iāve ever had⦠food is alright but overpriced for the quantity. Atmosphere is quite disappointing, just a patch of pavement, doesnāt feel at all like a āgardenā much less a Biergarten. Restroom is quite bad too. Service is not terrible but not particularly friendly
Food is great so as beer! Not to mention super kind staff. My favorite is Kielbasa
Awesome place! Great vegan sausage, good serving of fries, and not that expensive compared to most places in town. I like that they have a condiment bar where you can add what you want to the sausage.
Nice atmosphere, though it was a little chilly towards the end of the day when we were there with no indoor seating options.
The onion rings were definitely overcooked when we were there, with the onions inside being dried up and the exterior very dark and crispy. Other than that the food was great though.
Excellent place to eat and have a cold beer ?

Nice outdoor spot with good Bavarian food selections. You order at the entrance and then they bring food out to you. Somehow our order was lost, and we asked about it about 20 minutes later. The host apologized and offered a comp to make up for the error. We shared 3 sausages, a big pretzel, and (free) potato salad. The pretzel was soft and flavorful. The sausages were spicy, as we hoped they would be. The potato salad was also very good. They had a good selection of sauces and dressing for the sausages. Also, a good beer selection. Also, even though the setting was outdoors it was well shaded and comfortable.

Went for dinner on a weekday. Outdoor seating, did have a cover for shade. Sausages were good, but the highlight was the giant pretzel and cheese.

If you like sausages, mustard and beer this is your place. Itās a casual eatery: order at counter and your food is brought to your
picnic table where you seat yourself.
Help yourself to the great variety of mustard bottles and other stuff like sauerkraut and chicken chopped chiles at the condiment bar. The cranberry, Coney and jalapeƱo mustards were immaculate!
We had the kielbasa (really good) and bratwurst (good) in buns, German potato salad (tangy, cold, substantial with bits of sausage in it) and fries. It was all hearty, tasty and fun.
On a Sunday afternoon the place was hopping. During the 45 minutes that we were there, perhaps a hundred diners young and old passed through. Service was pleasant but it took maybe 15-20 minutes for our food to arrive due to the high volume of business.
All in all weād return. About $20/pp for a meal or more if youāre having beer.
