Came in at 6pm with a coupon from our hotel for 2 for 1 tastings…the bartender attended to another costumer that had arrived before us. By the time he reached us it was 6:04 and he let us know that they do not accept the coupon an hour before closing. No problem, we will spend our money elsewhere. We had been next door before and they were much busier…I wonder if it has anything to do with the service?
Feliz Noche Cellars is a hidden gem in the Solvang, in the Santa Ynez Valley! Tasting room Manager, Chucky Hernandez is knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making the tasting experience both educational and fun. You're welcomed with warmth when you enter the tasting room in Solvang. Felipe Hernandez's winemaking skills are evident in every bottle. The wines are outstanding, each providing a unique taste of the region. I especially enjoyed their signature blends.
Relaxing location. Nice ambience. Wine tasting was great. Great details and information.
My husband and I stopped here while we were waiting for the check in time at the hotel on the same block. It was our first visit to Felíz Noche and we will now make it our first stop everytime that we visit Solvang. The atmosphere was very inviting and we were able to bring our dog with us. The wine was great. My husband purchased wine for himself.
Wandered in here on a weekday afternoon, and so had the luxury of plenty of time to talk with the manager while tasting, and learned lots of interesting things about their wines. Really liked their Chardonnay, which was smooth like a steel chard but still had a hint of spice from the oak, but what really hit me was their Tempranillo, which is a variety I love and theirs was excellent. There are a lot of good tasting rooms in Solvang but I don't know if there are any others where you'll find a Spanish wine like this.
Friendly fun environment. Great wine!
Feliz Noche Winery in Solvang is simply amazing! Their wines are nothing short of excellent, with a wide variety of flavors for every palette. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, making the wine-tasting experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking to discover new wines and have a great time doing so, Felix Noche Winery is the place to be! A truly unforgettable five star experience.
It was nice, good older wines.
Excellent selection! Outdoor or indoor seating, small & intimate. Wines are small batch, so I enjoyed them more than some of the big tasting we've done. Wish there were crackers and cheese to pair with. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, without being pushy to sell the wine.
Really loved the wine tasting experience when we happened to make a stop at Solvang on Thanksgiving morning. The best part was that the guide wasn't trying to show off his knowledge but still managed to tell us interesting facts about growing or choosing a good wine. They offer a mix of red, white and rose, if you don't know your favorite. And my friend, who was a beginner, had a pretty good (drunk) time finding his wine of choice. It's a local winery, so most of the wines are not produced in bulk - so better grab a bottle if you love one! That's what I did too.

Feliz Noche is a small batch vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley with a tasting room in Solvang. Most all of the wines are produced in very small numbers between three different vineyards owned by Don Felipe. The tasting room offers seating both inside and outside. The server we had was quite friendly and knowledgeable, explaining both the composition and characteristics of each wine but also production. This would be a five star place were it not for two things: 1.) The wine server shouldn't be drinking on the job. While I get that it was really quiet and slow (we were the only customers he had that day till that point), it isn't a good look and can lead to mistakes in several areas including hygiene. 2.) There should be cheese or crackers...something...to clear the palate between tastings. My guess is this has become a common cost cutting measure across the majority of the tasting rooms in the area, but it muddles the experience for the customer (the tongue becomes muddy without something to clear the previous tasting) and deprived the owner of the ability to cross sell something, like cheese...Membership is available and offers discounts on wine purchases and free tastings when in the area.
A hidden gem! Stumped upon this and had the most lovely tasting. Very knowledgeable on wine and friendly! A must
The rudest staff I have met at a wine tasting bar. Attitude and reluctance don’t go well with the wine served. Not recommended.
A gem in Solvang. Competes well with some of my favorite wineries in Sonoma and Napa. The staff are great.
Rick was amazing. Fun, knowledgeable and made our time in Solvang special. Thanks Rick ? P.S. It was my friend's first wine tasting and was intimidated but Rick made her feel at home. Unpretentious and welcoming.
