We got the 3 course option which was more than enough food. Cauliflower was so delicious, cavatelli also amazing, and finally the passion fruit tart and the mousse were heavenly. Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a nicer dining experience.
Vegetarian options: Cauliflower and the cavatelli were both great options

Food was amazing, but the experience took away so much from the night. Front of house/guest greeting needs a lot of work. There was no host available and, when we did find someone in an office, they were short and seemed put out to talk to customers. Serving staff was hit and miss. Some servers were absoulute 5/5, others didn't seem to care much about customer service at all. Could have been such a great experience with just a little more care/effort.

Food was average, service was very slow. Don’t understand the excitement around it.

Incredible! Everything from the food to the wine to the service was amazing! The wine pairing is 100% worth it! I can’t wait to come back!
We selected the 3 course menu with wine paring. Everything was perfectly prepared with tasty combinations of sauces and accompaniments. Michelin Plate rating is well deserved. Wonderfully tasty Roast Cauliflower is a must try.
Amazing dining experience!
We selected the 5 course menu with wine pairings for each course and everything was delicious, and the service and atmosphere were excellent
Well worth checking out!

The Brussels sprouts were a wonderful extra.
The truffle cauliflower is a must-get and will be one of the best things you may ever eat.
The beef tenderloin cut like butter
The bread is perfect
The passion fruit tart will change your life. We did the three course meal. The service is exceptional. You must come here

We haven't been back in 5 years and it was equally as exceptional. The cuisine is so inspired... Every course was a masterpiece, from the delicate amuse-bouche to the impeccably plated mains. Each bite offered layers of complex flavors, artfully presented with precision. The five-course tasting menu left a lasting impression of indulgence. Our server was brilliant and so thoughtful. best restaurant in Solvang hands down.
The food was delicious and the staff exceeded all expectations! We dined for our 1yr anniversary. Every member of staff congratulated us and made us feel incredibly valued. We came for the food - which more than delivered! and were deeply moved by the thoughtful people who made the experience truly special.
Food was great. The problem was we had a 5 course meal & it took 2.5hrs. We weren't slow on ordering or eating.
From entree to dessert we waited 30minutes. Between courses we were waiting a bit longer than we expected.

What a fantastic find. We were passing through and found this little gem. We had no idea what to expect but what we did get was a meal to remember. We both ordered the chef's 5-course tasting menu accompanied by a wine pairing. First course was a pair of Oysters served with a local Sparkling Chardonnay. We were also given fresh hot bread from the oven with Avocado butter. Second course was a Hamachi Crudo with fresh Stone Fruit for me and a roasted Cauliflower dish for my wife. The second course wine was a Santa Ynez Chenin Blanc. For the third course I had the Ricotta Cavatelli, and my wife had the single large Scallop. The wine was a Perraud from France and the most interesting wine of the night. For the fourth course we both had the Tenderloin of beef with a wonderful local Pinot Noir from Santa Rita Hills. For the last course I had a passion fruit tart with a Riesling from Mosel, Germany. My wife had "Chocolate and Honey" with a Taylor Fladgate Port. The service at every step of the way was prompt and friendly, explaining everything we were getting and the history of the wines. The atmosphere was of a quaint B&B dining room. The ambiance was also quiet even with 4 other couples in the same room and made the meal that much more enjoyable.
What an amazing experience. From start to finish the staff was incredible! Welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. And now for the food .. outstanding! Every course was not only delicious but the presentation was great too.We had a beautiful day trip to Solvang and ended with this delicious meal in a lovely spot. Next time we will stay the night @ their hotel where the restaurant is located. Beautiful boutique hotel on a quiet corner just a short walk from the downtown area. So happy to have found this little gem!
Excellent food and service. A bit loud due to a couple of tables with four people at them who were pairing wine with sir food and became boisterous. The food had extraordinary tastes and very attentive servers.
We were up in Los Olivos area for a couple of days. Enjoyed a great dinner at First & Oak. Was the 5 course prix fixe. Food was nicely coursed out, quite flavorful, and portions the right size. Will go back.
We did the 5 course + wine pairing. Food was very good, no misses on the menu, and some dishes were truly spectacular. Wine was excellent and paired nicely. Service was great: friendly, prompt and polite. We ate outside. Not a lot of car traffic or foot traffic where we were seated. Very quiet and easy to speak/listen. This is a good restaurant and reasonably priced. I'd recommend to anyone.
