BEST KEPT SECRET in the Santa Ynez Valley! Literally the VERY BEST baked goods I've ever had in my life! Great prices. Unique, sweet location and just downright AMAZING! People say "awesome" too often where it isn't necessarily true. At Holy Grounds, you're going to find the most "AWESOME" fresh baked pastries you've EVER had, and that's a fact!!! Unbelievable GEM!!!!

Quaint shop on the grounds of a church. We felt welcome from the minute we stepped foot in the door. Breakfast burrito and quiche were yummy. Coffee was ok but would suggest a more flavorful choice to serve. Yes we would return.

I'm in no way of a coffee drinker but my wife is. We where staying in the area and Holy Ground Cafe was the only thing open in this small town. Best coffee food I have had and my wife liked the coffee. We won't think twice to stop in again when in the area.

We had driven by a few times and the name was so clever, we had to stop and try it out. So glad we did!Plenty of parking, and a great outdoor seating area to enjoy the beautiful local weather! Inside, the menu is abundant with tasty-sounding options, and the pastry counter is overwhelming - everything looks so delicious! All fresh and fluffy, with large portions. We almost couldn't decide on an entree (the quiche is highly recommended, and another patron was expressing his gratitude for his breakfast burrito). The breakfast sandwich I got was flavorful and the toasted sourdough wasn't scratchy on the roof of my mouth. Oh, and the side salad was tossed in a really good vinaigrette! We split a warm slice of banana loaf and it was INCREDIBLE. I really should have gotten my own, I didn't want to share it!! The frosting melted and we used forks to dip each bite. Honestly, thinking about it is making me want to go back for more...So glad we stopped in, can't wait to go back and try the quiche and scones!

Holy Grounds Cafe is the absolute best around. Their coffee is amazing and their baked goods will have you hooked. I'm not a sweet eater and this morning I ordered and devoured half of the blueberry scone and the best almond croissant I have ever tasted. Everything is fresh and cooked on site and all the profits go to Meals on Wheels. Barb is the miracle worker who turns out these amazing creations. They also serve lunch and you can get it to go. What a way to offer more food options to the Valley. This is a must!!

This is a true gem. A coffee shop in the old rectory of the church. The baked goods (maple scone! Cookies, brownies, frittata) were all really good, and it was a friendly, casual atmosphere. Coffee and hot chocolate were excellent as well. Saturday morning they do cartoons and playtime for the kids, and it kept us busy for almost 2 hours. Definitely a good local experience!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Lots of toys and kids books in the library

What a blessing!Super cool to see this cafe in operation using church property to provide excellent coffee, fresh-baked delicacies, and some respite to the community. The cafe staff are friendly, courteous, and attentive. Plenty of room if you have time to sit down outside or inside.Holy Grounds Cafe has it going onI have seen lots of different folks from the community show up, even some Catholic monks :)Definitely worth a try.No need to remove your sandals like Moses...

Very lovely little cafe! the drinks are very reasonably priced and their pastries are amazing! The owner works in there and is so lovely to talk to while she makes the drinks herself. We've been twice this week!

One of the best hidden gems in the area. My wife's iced caramel and my orange freeze were the best If not the best iced coffee and smoothie we've had in a long time. Service was great, and the lady who helped us was so nice... it was a nice place to sit and relax. So clean, and calm to sit and have a coffee with loved ones.. they even have a library... we've been coming to Solvang/Buellton for years and never stopped here before. Glad we did today. The croissant was fresh made and again the best we've had in along time. Just amazing!! Here's the kicker it's lo located in a Presbyterian church... so don't just drive by thinking there's only a church here. Stop and read lol...We will be back again... can't wait..
