Great new Thai restaurant in Solvang. Wonderful dining experience and very good to go also. We have enjoyed a lot of the dishes that they offer on the menu and will definitely become regulars.

We visited Kanok Thai on Valentine’s Day with my husband and kids, and our dinner was absolutely fabulous! The vibe was warm and welcoming—perfect for a special night out while still being family-friendly. We started with the dumplings and shrimp rolls, and both were delicious. I ordered their signature Pad Thai (my favorite!) and it was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Our kids loved the chicken fried rice. My lychee martini was made to perfection, and the mango sticky rice was the sweetest, most delicious ending to a wonderful evening. We can’t wait to come back!

So, the restaurant has good ambience, small menu and service is decent. I am a Khao Soi lover so I tried thiers for the first time and i was so disappointed as the flavor was so bland that i had to put 3 teaspoons of fish sauce and asked for some sugar to make it edible and i hate to waste food so i just have to finished it. I had a little bit high expectation as everything looks nice there.
I told our server and we never really received any apology just walked away and asked if we needed anything else? Like what???
Additionally, pork ribs are so salty as if some one accidentally drop a whole bottle of salt in there. Almost unbearable, but my friend was nice enough to let that slide. It was our first time and last time. If you were gonna charge me so much on food then please make it a good one.

We had a reservation, so we were seated immediately. It’s a very nice, welcoming atmosphere for a family meal. Our server was great (apologies for not remembering his name!), the food was delicious, and the service was fast. I will definitely be back!

What a gem this place is and much needed for Solvang! The food was excellent — some of the best and most fresh Thai I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Shrimp pad Thai, Papaya salad, Pangang curry! I’m not sure you can go wrong with anything there, excited to come back and try more of their dishes.

This is a hidden gem in Solvang. Excellent food quality, good vibe, and kind staff. We had pad Thai, tom yum soup, and pineapple fried rice and they were all delicious.

Food was excellent. We ordered the green chicken curry (veggies were not overcooked and had a good crispy bite) loved that they added bamboo shoots. The pad Thai was made from scratch and the sauce was not too sweet like any other pad Thai. Thai fried rice was delicious and not greasy at all.
Service was friendly but the team needs a little more time to find their rhythm and that’s ok.
Overall the food, atmosphere and the environment were all great. Will come back again.
