I really like the customer service but my Lasagna was dry , so hard to cut and not very easy swallow down, had to keep adding sauce to keep it moist.

While strolling through town in the evening, my wife and I stumbled upon this lovely restaurant — and what a lucky discovery it was! They were set to close at 9:00 PM, and we walked in around 8:00 PM, hoping it wasn’t too late.
To our delight, they welcomed us in warmly and gave us a perfect table by the window. The atmosphere was cozy and charming, and the service was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and professional.
The food? Absolutely incredible. I ordered a meat dish, and my wife had pasta with seafood — both were cooked to perfection and served in generous portions. We even had to take some home with us because we couldn’t finish it all!
It was one of those evenings that felt magical — great food, great service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We’re so glad we found this place, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Cute restaurant on the main drag in Solvang. Convenient location with very nice service. Food is pretty disappointing. I’m sure there are gems on the menu and the restaurant is clean, but overall very bland and basic.

Wonderful yummy restaurant! Great ambiance. Service was really good. Very attentive! Food was delicious! Started with the burrata salad and the beef carpacio. Both delicious. I had the Risotto Primavera which had lots of veggies. It was large enough to feed two people but I ended up having some left over to take back to hotel (yay!). Husband had the lasagna which was a good healthy serving size. We would recommend this place for sure!
Arrived late in the evening, midweek, about an hour before closing. Worried the traditional American-Italian menu options would result in family-style bland 1970s food. Instead, the pasta was perfectly cooked, the meat tender and seasoned, the sauce fresh and delicious. We ordered the Veal Special and the Spaghetti with Polpette. Serving sizes were much larger than we could eat. Wine was good. Will definitely return the next trip through.

Osteria Grappolo is the best Italian restaurant in Solvang, and one of the best restaurants in the area. Aside from the nice indoor atmosphere, they offer good seating outdoors as well. The menu is organized and contains a large number of seafood based appetizers and entrees (the name of the restaurant kind of clues you in ?). A chalkboard in the front advertises specials which rotate frequently. Their pasta and seafood dishes are nicely portioned and well done. Though a bit more pricey, I highly recommend their New York steak, which is just under a pound and comes with vegetables. The wait staff are pleasant and the service is attentive. The owner is nearly always here and is friendly and helpful as well.
Vegetarian options: You can order salads and vegetables separately or remove items to make them vegetarian. Pasta is also available with a simple marinara sauce.

Food was great, service was great! The place is really cozy and cute. We had the burrata salad, linguine with clams, and spaghetti carbonara. We also had a couple glasses of local wine. The carbonara had a very generous amount of pancetta. Our server was very attentive. Would love to come again for dessert!
