The smell of it hits you at the door, and by the time you realize what's going on you're at the counter and drooling. I mean.. it's Fudge! What's not to like!? The pretzels were tasty too. Good selection of fudge, which is always nice.
Too sweet not worth trying
Delicious fudge and pretzel. An orderly way in and out following the arrows. No free samples but I can recommend the pretzel and also the pecan fudge đ„š
Every year I love spoiling my neighbors with treats from The Danish Fudge Kitchen, and they never disappoint. This year I waited until the very last minute....Christmas Eve, pouring rain, Solvang traffic at its absolute worst and still walked away reminded why I keep coming back.
After finally finding parking, I was carrying my sleeping baby in her car seat while juggling holiday stress, and the staff could not have been kinder. They were friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful, and even carried my purchases out to my car so I wouldnât struggle with my baby and all the goodies.
Their fudge is always a huge hit, every year my neighbors absolutely love it, and I end up feeling like the âbest neighborâ thanks to them. Incredible goodies, outstanding customer service, and kindness that truly stands out. Worth every bit of the chaos to get there. No wonder it was one of my biggest cravings when I was pregnant! Lol
This place looks so cute but fudge is just so sweet we could not take more than a bite
The reviews on google didnât match my experience. The chocolate fudge was extremely sweet probably the sweetest Iâve ever had too much sugar for my liking.
The one star rating is for the rude behavior of the man at the counter, I couldnât understand why.
So good! I got a Maple walnut and rocky road fudge and both were delicious. We got them on Friday night and the pieces were stuck good size that I just finished them today (Sunday). They had a decent selection and you could tell that the fudge was fresh. Definitely glad we stopped in here on our trip.

Clean location. Friendly staff.
Quality Pretzels and Several types of Fudge. Taffy and plenty delectable sweets.
Super friendly service and lots of items, including a big variety of fudge and saltwater taffy flavors. They have a system to help keep it from getting too crowded, which is awesome. Would definitely go back.
Old Danish fudge kitchen is my absolute favorite place as a local. I go during my work breaks to pick up a pretzel (a FRESH one) and sometimes I treat myself to some fudge. My toddler and I are OBSESSED. Weâre normies and love the regular milk chocolate fudge. But not only that, the fudge kitchen also has an ice cream side that has so many options!!! Moose tracks is YUMMY. The waffles cones are DELICIOUS. Needless to say, if youâre in town and not passing through Old Danish Fudge Kitchen, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

poor customer service :/
Idk how they call it fudge, doesnât even have a chocolate flavor. Was just sugar, and hard, no soft chewy fudge like goodness, super disappointing. The staff is super friendly though.
I often visit this place and buy fudge when I visit but this last time , 07/20/2025 the quality is not there anymore.
It taste cheap and it melts so fast , it is not a solid piece of chocolate anymore. Taste like nothing but sugar.
As always great fudge
I have had fudge in many different locations around usa but hands down this is by far the worse I have ever had. It had a very bad smell and left this weird flavor in my mouth, around it was very tough, and the inside was very gooey.
