Super friendly service and lots of items, including a big variety of fudge and saltwater taffy flavors. They have a system to help keep it from getting too crowded, which is awesome. Would definitely go back.

Old Danish fudge kitchen is my absolute favorite place as a local. I go during my work breaks to pick up a pretzel (a FRESH one) and sometimes I treat myself to some fudge. My toddler and I are OBSESSED. We’re normies and love the regular milk chocolate fudge. But not only that, the fudge kitchen also has an ice cream side that has so many options!!! Moose tracks is YUMMY. The waffles cones are DELICIOUS. Needless to say, if you’re in town and not passing through Old Danish Fudge Kitchen, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

Idk how they call it fudge, doesn’t even have a chocolate flavor. Was just sugar, and hard, no soft chewy fudge like goodness, super disappointing. The staff is super friendly though.

I often visit this place and buy fudge when I visit but this last time , 07/20/2025 the quality is not there anymore. It taste cheap and it melts so fast , it is not a solid piece of chocolate anymore. Taste like nothing but sugar.

I have had fudge in many different locations around usa but hands down this is by far the worse I have ever had. It had a very bad smell and left this weird flavor in my mouth, around it was very tough, and the inside was very gooey.

They have fantastic pretzels that are warm and fresh! Probably the best pretzel I’ve ever had! They also carry tubs of Olsen’s Danish butter cookies. If you haven’t had them, do yourself a favor and give them a try! Just try not to eat all of them at once! The fudge is delicious and they are a regular stop any time we are in Solvang!

Best Fudge Ever and I mean ever!! I have been ordering candy from this store for at least 27 years from the first time I visited Solvang, CA. I was still living in Los Angeles then but moved to Dallas, Houston and now Louisiana and still ordering from them. The customer service is excellent. The product is excellent and they have a customer for life! You will not be disappointed!!! Nothing like a piece of dark chocolate fudge and a glass of California Cabernet…… life is piece of chocolate but with Old Danish, you always know what you’re getting. Thank me later ❤️❤️❤️

Best fudge ever. All the flavors are divine but my favorite was the brown sugar fudge. Every time I visit this town the candy shop is on my list. They have candy apples too.
