This place was pure perfection, the atmosphere was lively with multiple people from around the world enjoying great food and drinks while speaking their language. The staff were wonderful and so welcoming. The food was nothing short of greatness. This is a must stop and enjoy. Also the tea selection was delightful. Canāt wait to go back.

My family of 4 Came here for the 457th time yesterday. Well maybe the 20th time as we have for decades. Ordered 3 orders of the danish pancakes.
But this time the sausage was very dry, (maybe reheated) the pancakes were 2/3 the size of what we were used to, and my scrambled eggs were literally rotten. My wife had good eggs but my eggs smelled like crab, (a sign of rotten eggs) there was brown liquid oozing from them. I took one bite and realized but didnāt get sick, though I couldnāt eat another bite. My āminiā pancakes were finished in about 2 minutes, even taking my time, and I couldnāt eat another hardly finish the dry sausage. I left hungry.
I need to mention that since there was a line at the bathroom my wife and daughter had to find the public restroom and several minutes later we hadnāt even been asked for drink order. The waitress took so long, that even after getting back we had to wait another 5 minutes to order. It may have felt longer because we all knew just what we wanted before we got there.
Iām sad to say that our beloved Paulaās has changed for the worse. Even though our bill was over $70 I would have rather had McDonalds.

Delicious Danish 2 stack pancake and fresh squeezed orange juice not liberally fresh squeezed prior to serving but tasted fresh. Friendly staff who like to chat amongst themselves like family.

We are have been to Paulaās many times when we are in the area. We were looking forward to eating here. But this visit was just really off - with the food and the service. With 3 girls at the door, were seated right away. It took about 20 minutes for someone to get our drink order and for our drinks to arrive. The restaurant was not busy and had open tables. When our food arrived, our eggs were overcooked and dry. Our favorite Danish pancakes were just regular pancakes folded over not the thin ones we had come to love. I had to flag someone for more coffee and my husband had to flag someone for more syrup and milk. Overall, our experience this visit was truly disappointing for the price we paid.

This place is a must when visiting Solvang. The wait is definitely worth it but trust me you wont regret it. I had the best chicken fried steak I have ever had. And of course the Danish pancakes are unreal, enjoy š

We were seated at the counter. Waited too long to order while servers were talking among themselves. Had to ask someone walking by to find our server. I ordered medium rare patty melt that came out uncooked so sent back. Partner ordered medium patty melt that was overcooked. Restroom floor was covered with used towels because trash can was overflowing. No toilet paper.

I really want to give this place five stars but Iāll tell you why here in just a minute. My wife and I came for breakfast on a Friday morning at 9 AM and there was no line we were able to get a table immediately.
We sat down and got a really nice table near the window and then our server was on top of it and we ordered our food. My wife went with the danish pancakes and I went with the eggs Benedict.
Her pancakes were super sweet and delicious. They came with bacon and eggs. My eggs Benedict was good, but it wasnāt great and thatās the reason that Iām giving them four stars instead of five.

Take a long line to have a table, near one hour, but serving very fast after ordered. Very friendly staff but I don't think food has any special compared with others.

This was our third time coming to Paulaās for breakfast when we were in Solvang. Of all the other breakfast places, we liked this one the best. The country fried steak was hit and crispy when it came out. However, the omelette wasnāt light and fluffy like Iād expected, but the hash browns were good. The thick pancakes were better than the Danish pancakes but both were still good. The service was good. We canāt wait to come back soon!

Great pancakes and the service was good and friendly.
The wait was not as long as I thought. We also ordered the steak and eggs, it was ok everything needed salt I think they cook the items with no salt wish can be good for people watching their salt intake. Over all it was a good experience
