peasants FEAST is an airy adorable restaurant in downtown Solvang. They have a decent food as drink items. And offered both indoor and outdoor dining. Loved their comfortable chairs. Service was good. Food was average.
This spot was pinned on my itinerary so here I am. I came to grab a late lunch. I was ebulliently greeted by a mature female staff. I had a salmon sandwich x salad; fresh lemonade. I liked it. Service was spot on. Menu items were a bit pricey..But hey you’re in Solvang the Denmark capital of CA. :D
Atmosphere was quite relaxing. Decor and layout were good with ample of natural light. Plenty of parking. Overall, I had a pleasant lunch meal. And enjoyed their service. I recommend peasants FEAST.

We got sat and received water quickly. When we ordered, out questions were answered in a helpful way and even after ordering they informed us more about the food preparation so we knew exactly what we were getting and it tasted really good.

Caesar salad is great and so is the side of fried potatoes. Tortillas were too undercooked and French dip bread was stale. Corn soup has great flavor but too salty. Disappointing food compared to when we dined here a year ago.

I don't want to post this review. I don't want to share this restaurant with anyone else. The food is exquisite and well priced and the portions are larger than expected. But the service, wow! It is a family owned restaurant so it is cozy, intimate and feels like you are sitting down for a nice, quiet family dinner. If a full meal is too much for you, go across the street and get a sandwich and some wine at their deli; Peasants deli....and arcade!
A cozy place with both indoor and outdoor seating. The area is lively and we could hear live music.
We ordered their signature hot chicken sandwich and a smoked salmon sandwich. Both were flavorful. Our waitress was super friendly. It was a pleasant experience.

A long line to get in but that's the norm around Solvang. Menu was different than what was posted outside but that really didnt disappoint anyone in our party. Service was distracted by the crowd, shouldn't be an excuse but it is the reality of a tourist town. Worth a try if you like the menu selection.

Well, I had the hamburger, have to say it wasn't as tasty as it looked. Looked great but absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Overall I'd wouldn't stand in a line to eat here. Thankfully the line was short when we went.
We loved the food and the service, we had the chicken sandwich, Mushroom tacos and lemonade, Great place and we waited for 30 minutes and food took another 20 minutes to arrive. Good people and great food.

Nice place for farm to table lunch in casual atmosphere. I enjoyed the Caesar salad and husband had the spicy carnitas tocas which he loved and said they were definitely spicy. We ate out on the patio. Would visit again.
