Food is bland and definitely over priced. Salad was 30 dollars. We got the chicken sandwich which had no flavoring… we also got the short rib grilled cheese which also sucked.

Wow! The food was amazing! I tried the grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, potatos, Thom's sandwich and the squash soup. They were all delicious. They made my favorite Mac and Cheese. We ended up eating their food for lunch twice and the leftovers for dinner. The servers were always filling the water when it got low and very kind. The atmosphere is great too. They played good music and the interior design was impressive.
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are amazing and as well thought out as the meat dishes!

The atmosphere was really cool. Wood tones mixed in with potted and natural greenery; especially with the seating outside. Service was good, though there was a 30+ minute wait to be seated. Our server greeted us with a smile and got our drink and food orders out fairly quickly. The food however was just ok; especially considering the price for it. We had the smashed burger, hot chicken sandwich, and grilled cheese. The burger and toppings were fresh, but the ground beef was void of any flavor/seasoning. The chicken sandwich had a good spice to it, but was mostly breading. The grilled cheese was actually very good with aged cheddar, gruyere, and grilled onions with the cheese crusted on the outer sliced bread. Overall a good experience, but expected a bit more from the food.

Food was great! Love the location. Only wished there was some food that went with the theme of the building/city. Also coffee wasn’t good but this is not a coffee shop 😅. Overall top quality food!

Good food & good service. I had Fish Taco & it was great! 10, 20, 30 years ago they had at least one Danish food on the menu …
Dietary restrictions: The hotess was great and very attentive. She asked about food allergies and was kind enough to check if anything I thought was "safe" would have included anything I was allergic to.

Does not take reservations and is not easy to get seated on a very busy day. That being said, the wait was worth it. Beat grilling cheese was delicious and interesting. There are also good selections for kids.
Vegetarian options: Grilled cheese sandwiches and pickles
Kid-friendliness: Large kids menu and they have crayons

A dear friend referred us to PF the day before Thanksgiving, and what a treat this was. The 4 of us shared some two appetizers and we each had an entree. The food was so delicious, we didn't leave a crumb. A definite place to enjoy lunch.

The hot chicken sandwich was not bad, thought would be bigger, and juicier. The bacon was very pricey for just 1 slice.

Had the grilled cheese which was tasty but could have had more cheese. They should consider serving cheese crisps as the cheese that came out of the sandwich was tasty and crisp.

Waiter was great but food was super bland. Had the smash burger and hot chicken sandwich and they both tasted like unseasoned cooked meat. Cheesy Polenta also lacked flavor. Crispy potatoes were the only thing served that actually tasted great. $100 for 2 meals, 2 drinks, and an appetizer that didn’t deserve $20.

Solvang is probably a tough place to own a restaurant. You have to cater to LA people, central valley boomers, and tour buses of foreigners. This restaurant does a good job to create a menu that caters to everyone. Food is really good and a solid drink menu. Only complaint is that they should work some more fermented stuff into the mix.
