I visit this unique place once a month because I enjoy the good mood that is characterizes this restaurant. The personel is exceptionally helpful and qualified. The service is deeply fast. Most important, the food they cook is exceptionaly good. I have been there more than once and I was always delighted. The payment is modest. I highly suggest this restaurant to my friends and family.
We came to Solvang on a road trip from San Diego to Santa Rosa hoping to try a place we heard about for a great lunch. It was closed (much to our disappointment) so we tried nearby Petros. Fabulous. The lentil soup was wonderful only to be topped by the shrimp salad. The meyer lemon and honey dressing was superb. Alex, the waiter, new the wines well and was a great coach for pairing. What a memorable lunch!
Our experience did not match the reviews. The appetizer meatballs were bland and nothing special. The lamb pasta was tasty but had minimal lamb -- the lamb present was overcooked, The baklava was excellent. The service was very good and attentive.
