Delicious food!! They have a great happy hour if you're in the area. One of my favorite places to go to restaurant week if you're in town during that time or a local. We love to sit at the bar for happy hour and then move to a table after a drink.
The favorite spot in Solvang. Nice decor but not pretentious. They do a few things and they do them very well, including vegan and vegetarian options. Has a bar if you only want to grab a drink. Nice outdoor patio seating as well.

Solvang is such a magical town and Root 246 is definitely part of the magic. Seeing that this location is closed, I am writing this review with the hope it will help when Root 246 opens again, when the time is right. It truly was a gem when we had visited. We wanted a nice dinner for the first night we arrived for our Solvang weekend trip and Root 246 was nothing short of delicious, fresh, and superb quality in their organic food selection.
