I haven’t had their danish butter cookies in many years. Hilary was fantastic to work with to get a tub shipped to my home in time for my birthday. The cookies arrived flawless! These cookies are exactly as I remember. Hold their shape but melt away in your mouth. Utterly craveable. I might need to make this an annual thing. Tub of cookies instead of cake? Yes, please!

The crispy roll cinnamon thingy was delicious, surprisingly not too sweet yet super crispy. The crispy thing stuffed with coffee was also not bad. They could definitely use some price tags on the items though, I do not like guessing how much Im going to be paying for something especially at a tourist hotspot. Other than that this shop has really good style that compliments the surrounding danish buildings, absolutely worth a stop if visiting Solvang.

Rum balls are glorified cake pops. The Jamaican rum cookie filling was good, but the cookie was cold, thick and hard with too much chocolate coating. My Danish was disappointing, I've had much better ones at other locations. I visited on what seemed to be one of the busiest days of the year, so maybe everything was made days before. We took one little bite and tossed everything. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with three stars because of the hordes of people in Solvang on the day of our visit.

The Solvang Bakery is an absolute must-visit! I recently tried the Jamaican Rum and Oreo Brownie, and it was incredible—rich, fudgy, and the rum adds a sophisticated warmth that balances the sweetness of the Oreos perfectly. I paired it with a Vanilla Latte, which was smooth and not overly sweet. It’s the perfect spot to sit back, enjoy the Danish charm of the town, and indulge in some truly high-quality baking. Don't leave Solvang without stopping here!

Well worth a visit! What looked to be a long queue outside was people looking at the rabbit and rolling pin in the window. Once inside we moved through quickly and the staff were super efficient. We bought a couple of pastries and enjoyed them outside. 🇩🇰

I had one of the 2 vegan options, the macaroon. It was absolutely awful. It tasted like pure lavender flavor. I couldn’t taste anything else, and it took forever to get the taste out of my mouth. It was horrendous. I’m hoping it was just a bad batch, but it never should have been sold. I tried the second one I got to make sure it wasn’t just the one, and it tasted just as nasty. Extremely disappointing.

Would have given zero star if possible. We ordered two different items from the shelf. They packed without showing us. When we opened the box, we found none of them was originally ordered by us. Total fraud. Extremely sweet and stale. Overhyped for no reasons and unethical staff.

Charming bakery in Solvang with a very large selection of items. Convenient parking out front so it’s quick to get in and out. Picked up a few items that were immediately eaten and then also purchased some pre boxed cookies for a gift. Wish we would have brought a few more things for the ride home.

Order two slices of pastry - Total was about $13. Staff was really nice and helpful. Lots of parking outside.

Was driving by this beautiful Danish town in early morning. Saw this bakery opens in Thanksgiving day so got to check it out. Very cute and festive decor and plenty of sweet treats and baked goods that just too good to pass up. They do have coffee and other drinks. Staff here are very nice, helpful and friendly. Got several goodies for road snack and the HUGE sweet pretzel too, $25 - not bad at all, and it’s very yummy, soft and not too sweet. Loving it.
