Really delicious and authentic Danish food. Served fast even when they're busy. I would recommend getting a sandwich with either the Danish meatball and sausage, which are very unique and are a must-try while you're in the town. And of course you have to try their æbleskiver! I would recommend this place.

Great nostalgic restaurant in Solvang. We even sat across from the booth made famous in the movie Sideways. Try the Aebelskiver, it's delicious (if you're not too full from the meal).

This place is a must stop for us on our yearly trip to Solvanf. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. The ebleskivers are amazing but the Danish sausage is to die for. The staff are all absolutely wonderful. One waitress has been there for 20 years if not more. Absolutely amazing place.

We put our name in at Paul's pancakes with a 45 minute wait. We walked over to solving restaurant and were greeted with an open air window serving pancake balls (aebleskiver). We walked in and were seated right away. The food was amazing. We were in a group and had the pancakes, fried eggs, bacon , has browns and corned beef hash. A must try is the jam and the danish sausage with mustard. I could eat the mustard with bacon. It was amazing. Great service too!We will be back!
Been going here since my family moved to AG in '95, from the Bay Area. Located right on the main drag, Copenhagen, is Solvang restaurant. The funny thing is what we always do, is order from the outdoor window many orders of aebleskivers, go to a bench/stand on the street and go to TOWN! Fast and easy service. The AEBLESKIVER taking a pancake, turning it into a ball, adding wonderful, homemade jam and then hit it with powder sugar. The cakey/dough of the aebleskiver, the tart/sweetness of the fresh jam and then that sweet hit of powdered sugar, makes for a great treat. Our family drives from Atascadero, on a whim! If you haven't tried, go and treat yourself! *This time the Aebleskiver could've been fresher and wish they would've put more jam*

If you have to have Æbleskivers, get them to go. Don't bother sitting inside or anything else on the menu. Family insisted on having breakfast during a visit to Solvang. Terrible burnt coffee, mushy hash browns, blunt knives which couldn't cut the rock hard bread, and rushed service.
