Really great breakfast/brunch spot, and they also serve other meals of course. We got the Cali Benedict, and it was a decent size and delicious. However, the drink was just OK. Got “so damn fresh” and, while it was fresh, it was basically a $14 virgin mint julep. The restaurant itself was beautiful, and we were seated in about 3 minutes even with a line and people ahead of us.

We stayed the night on Thursday July 14th in Solvang and looked for dinner restaurants. This place was not to busy even though we made reservations. The staff seemed overwhelmed but was really courteous. Our waitress was great and the food was good. The reason I gave 4 stars was The steamed vegetables were a little hard but flavorful, and I was really hungry for steak and it was a 8 oz so not to big. The price was good for the portions and a nice little place to eat.

the quality of food was good and it was filling as well. The outdoor area was lovely and calm and it is a nice place to spend time with your loved ones in Solvang!

Very good food and service. We ordered Pastrami Hash N' Eggs and Succulent Bacon Burger, and both were great. The only problem was the long wait time to be seated. But all the restaurants in Solvang had the same problem as we visited this city on Memorial Day weekend.

Everything we ordered here did not disappoint our taste buds. We came here on a Sunday incidentally found this cute restaurant. Will definitely be back.

The best breakfast I've had in awhile!! Hands down the best gravy I've EVER had! Definitely grab the biscuits and gravy. HIGHLY recommend. The inside is nice and elegant if your trying to escape the sun. Service was great also. Thanks again Succulent Cafe Staff!!

This place looked like it had a huge line but it went by in 30 minutes or so. Nice plant esthetic outside and I was surprised by the full bar in the smaller indoor section. The BLAT was great, Aldo of avocado! And the ranch was that good good, I think it had dill or something in it! The Succulent biscuit was actually very sweet it didn't even feel like you were eating pulled pork. Servers were attentive! Would definitely recommend.

The three stars are for the service. The food was excellent. On a busy weekend expect a 45-60 minute wait for a table of two. The waiter informed us of the special and soups of the day. The meat in the soup was wrong, he stated it was chicken but it was pork. We didn't get our drinks until after our entrees arrived. Lastly one server wasn't wearing a belt and his pants hung very low and you could see his underwear.

Cozy and really tasty restaurant in the middle of Solvang. We got the charcuterie board for starters and the "Three little bigs" as main course and it was some of the best food we have ever tasted. Well done!

Fabulous breakfast with homemade biscuits. Great outdoor dining and dog friendly. Situated in the heart of Solvang.

Welcoming environment, great staff! Stopped in after driving up from LA. Needed to get our anniversary started right and this placed definitely welcomed us. Shared a delicious salmon cesar salad and mussel soup with the hubs. Delicious!

Went here once for dinner. Good food and drinks but strange menu options. I think it is a breakfast place trying to do dinner. I haven't been back.

After an over 2 hour drive from La Puente, we needed to fuel up! Found free street parking and walked up at about 1p (they close at 3p). We were seated right away, inside (there was some sun, but it was windy out). Within a couple minutes we were given utensils and water; menus were already on the table. The server came and we requested a few more minutes in which he came back on time! We shared the pastrami hash 'n' eggs - oily but it was good, topped with aged white cheddar and we opted for the poached eggs. The bourbon vanilla French toast was delicious, especially with the warm butter pecan syrup! Generous servings of food!

Wow so good!!! Everything seems homemade. Had the best biscuit in my life here. The French toast was delicious. Will definitely come here again.

We dined at Succulent for dinner; the food was very good. We had been wine and cheese tasting for most of the afternoon, so we ordered two appetizer dishes, the brussels sprouts and the grilled prawns. The brussels sprouts were quite good but could have been cooked a little longer. The prawns were very tasty. My partner must eat gluten-free; the menu is limited in that regard. Service was good. However, the restaurant was very noisy. It is a very busy bistro style restaurant with a bar, and some of the bar patrons obviously had been drinking for most of the day. It was very difficult to carry on a conversation between the two of us.
