Really nice selection of assorted baked goods. Everything we tried tasted fresh and made from scratch.

Wonderful, unique Bakery items. We got everything that had come fresh out of the oven and loved every item we got. The gouda pretzel was outstanding!

My mom and I walked into this shop because it smelled SOOO GOOD. We proceeded to get two loaves of banana bread, a loaf of lemon poppyseed bread, and a few other things. Oh man. DELICIOUS. The banana bread was hearty and not too sweet. The caramel on the brownie was incredible. But the lemon poppyseed bread was the star. The perfect amount of flavor without being overly lemony. So goooood. We DEF will be back when we visit Solvang.

The bread shop is in my top three favorite places for food in all of Solvang! Such a pretty and delicious selection of breads and baked goods! Do yourself a favor and try the spinach+feta spanakopita!

This is a beautiful little bakery in Solvang. It's not quite on the main street but it's within walking distance since everything is so close to each other. It smells absolutely wonderful when you enter the bakery. I had a hard time deciding what to get! We tried their pepperoni and Gouda cheese pretzels, and the prosciutto twist. I wanted to try their famous Nutella bread but it wasn't available that day. Everything was fresh and delicious. We preferred the pepperoni pretzel because it had a little more depth than the smoked Gouda pretzel. I'd love to return and try their sandwiches. The employee said they weren't currently making sandwiches but they may return when the weather gets warmer. It would be perfect for a summer picnic!

This place just opened a few weeks before I arrived. I wish I had gone to this place before covid hit because I feel like this shop would have served so many various delicious baked goods. When I went here, they were limited in what they served. So I got the stuffed gouda pretzel, the pepperoni and cheese pretzel, and the carrot walnut bread. The gouda pretzel looked very good, but I was a little disappointed in it. I think it had either too much bread or too much cheese or something was up with the ratio. I liked the pepperoni and cheese pretzel, but I wish there was a bit more pepperoni inside the pretzel. The carrot walnut bread was very delicious. The bread was moist and had a good walnut crunch to it. The cashier was very kind and friendly. The place had an amazing aroma once you entered inside. I just wish I saw some of the baked goods that I see here in the yelp pictures.

The Gouda Pretzel Bagel is the best thing I ever ate. I went back to get another one even though I was full because it was so delicious. I will be going back every time we visit Solvang.

I came in here for valentine's day and was awed by how beautiful the outside of this bakery is...then I walked in and it was also very nice inside! The service was outstanding and their bread very fresh and delicious. I bought a selection of items from the lemon small loaf to the carrot loaf and sour dough bread. I'm making this my mandatory stop every time I visit solvang. If you are looking for a delicious bakery and a cute place to take a pic , this is the place!

This is a cute little bread shop on Copenhagen. The croissant was hot out of oven and delicious. The pretzels were huge and cheddar flavored. Looking forward to coming back.

This place literally had every type and taste of bread one can imagine. We pigged out on tons of different breads. They were unique in size, shapes and taste. Definitely can cause anyone food coma. Basil herb roll, chocolate croissants, Nutella brioche, mozzarella basil bread were some of my favs.

Walking past this little shop, you can smell the delicious scents of fresh bread baking... That's how I stumbled upon this little shop. There was a short line outside of the shop to comply with social distancing guidelines which was nice. The options range from loaves of bread to pretzels. I got some Spanakopita, and then after circling back fresh Mediterranean Stuffed Hand-roll, and the Gouda-stuffed Pretzel. The Spanakopita wasn't fresh but the flavor was definitely there! I think had it been warm and not cold, it would have tasted better. The fresh mediterranean hand-roll and gouda-stuffed pretzel were divine though! I highly recommend ordering some of the items when they are fresh out of the oven because boy did the toasted bread make all the difference to the flavors of everything. I also appreciated how kind the cashier was! She let us know how long the next batch of items would take as we were dying to try the bread after smelling the flavors as we passed by. She also recommended a few spots to stop by for our first visit in Solvang. The Bread Shop is definitely worth a try when visiting this cute little town.

Gouda cheese pretzel was pretty good. I was hoping to try the mozzarella tomato basil roll but unfortunately that was not on the menu until next week. The girl at the counter was very sweet. The shop was quaint and behind Mortensen's bakery. Would definitely return next time I am in Solvang!

Stopped by and grabbed a cheese pretzel and blueberry loaf. The pretzel was delicious, and had a wonderful mix of herbs. The blueberry loaf was very moist and was just the perfect amount of dense. My only regret was that I did not visit the shop subsequently during my stay. This shop is definitely not one to be missed.

Beautiful shop with beautiful products. Happened upon The Bread Shop this weekend, and wish I'd known about it before! We frequently visit the area, so I'm looking forward to trying many more baked goods. We were just grabbing a snack, and tried the Gouda-stuffed bread (pretzel shaped), the cheddar and pepperoni stuffed bread (bagel shaped) and the blueberry mini loaf. All of these were fresh and delicious. Service was wonderful, very clean and safe shop. Note they are not taking cash, only allowing no contact payment by credit or debit card. Hoping to grab a loaf of bread today to take home for this coming week. Yum!
