The food was not up to par
The potatoes were dry The chicken was dry and they used can gravy for the chicken piccota and the carrots were the only fresh thing on the plate. Very disappointed 😞

Decent food, great service and atmosphere. Great prices too if you are looking for somewhere to eat that’s a bit more affordable.

Just far enough off from the tourist traps that there are good odds you can get a table. Even on a holiday weekend. Loved the sausage plate. Service is spectacular, the employees are running themselves ragged for their customers. We will be back.

The food was a real disappointment. The sauerkraut was so salty I couldn't even eat it. The potato cakes were way overcooked. My husband had a pasta dish that had no flavor whatsoever. The bratwurst and purple cabbage were good.

If you want to try Danish food, I recommend that you give this restaurant a try. My friend tried the Farmers plate while I tried the Biksemad. We shared both meals, and they were both delicious. But I especially loved the steak, onions, eggs, and red cabbage combination for Biksemad so much I wish I had the recipe.

Very good food and service, I ordered the special, which was Pesto Salmon with vegetables and roasted potatoes. I also ordered a green salad of fresh lettuces, tomato slices and cucumber with housemade ranch dressing and a glass of white wine. The salad was large and fresh and came with a side dish of the best ranch dressing I've tasted in years! Really delicious!
The Salmon entree was prepared well, not overcooked, and had delicious, tender-crisp vegetables of carrots and zucchini. This was a great meal!
The restaurant itself could use a refresh, but with delicious food and attentive service, it was a terrific experience. I will definitely return.

I ordered the biksemad... I added roasted Danish rye bread.... COMFORT FOOD!!! sirloin, red cabbage, roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy, grilled onions, fried egg.... Next time I will order this dinner with an extra fried egg.... Service was excellent... Atmosphere encourages conversation... They have dining at the counter/bar.. a huge inside dining area and a large outdoor garden to dine... You have plenty of choices... This restaurant also has the capacity to hold large gatherings...

Maybe vikings were so ornery because the recipes were still this bland back then. Service was efficient, but the food was very peculiar in taste.

We had some authentic danish food. It's a nice little spot in the wall, but we're starting to realize that danish food is not our cup of tea.
The service here is very friendly and attentive. I found the price very reasonable as well.
Went on easter. Mostly empty. Service was kind of slow.
Nothing great about this place. The food is average
We came here because it was listed as dog-friendly, and indeed it was. A large beer garden outside in front and two tables out back were available for folks with dogs. Service was fast and efficient. We had the Danish sausage plate, which was good, and the fish and chips, also good.
A nice restaurant to get a taste of Danish food. At the time we visited, it was not busy, so service was quick. The food was tasty and the prices were about the average for the area. The European ambiance of the restaurant is unmistakable.
